Ms. Shante Ashley Goggins

Shanté Ashley Goggins was born to Tangie Goggins and Lamonte Herring, Sr. on December 4, 1987 in Orlando, Florida. Shanté was known to many as “Tae” with her loving smile and always happy and joyful attitude. She was the third oldest born of five siblings. Shanté attended Agape Christian Academy and was a graduate of the class of 2006. Her loving spirit of happiness, joy and love created precious moments for the entire family throughout her lifetime. Spending devoted time with her kids, mother and siblings was her passion. Her dedication of being the best that she could be through respect and mannerism was contributed to her up-bringing. Through God’s perfect Grace and Mercy, she received his acceptance of repentance and love. God sent his angels from heaven to surround her and received her forgiving spirit. All things are done in God’s infinite and perfect wisdom. On Monday, March 9, 2015, God’s special white doves flew along with his angels and roses of all colors surrounded Shanté as she completed her transition into Heaven’s Garden. The loss of Shanté is deep and personal and she will be greatly missed by not only her family but friends who loved her most. Shanté was preceded in death by her father, Lamonte Rodell Herring, Sr., maternal grandmother, Margaret Sue Cherry, a loving brother, Lamonte Rodell Herring, Jr. and paternal grandfather, Paul Herring of Orlando, Florida. Shanté leaves continuous love to: two daughters, Christiana Garrett and Amina Delugo of Orlando, Florida; a spiritual and truly loving mother, Tangie Goggins of Sorrento, Florida; step-father, Roderick V. Weaver of Wildwood, Florida; three devoted siblings, sister, Geronda Lee of Orlando, Florida and two brothers, Antonio Goggins of Orlando, Florida, Josh Robinson of Georgia; step-brother, Gerodney Barnes of Orlando, Florida; step-sister, Jasmine Huggins of Orlando, Florida; paternal grandmother, Carol Herring of New York; god-mother, Glenese Williams of Miami, Florida; aunts, Desiree Herring of New York, Lisa Herring of Tallahassee, Florida, Jacqueline Milton of Miami, Florida, Sonjay Henderson, Alfreda Wright, Keisha Lee all of Orlando, Florida; Denerica Ross, of Charlotte, North Carolina; great aunts, Violet Winters (Hurvis), Gloria Griffin, Joann Day, all of Oakland, Florida, Vivian Baker, Shirley Henderson and Ira Bill Herring, all of Orlando, Florida; she leaves to cherish her extended family, the Herrings, Goggins, Baker, Lundy and Williams families and sorrowing friends; god-sister, Tawalla Williams of Orlando, Florida; god-father (like a father), Gerodney Lee, Sr. of Orlando, Florida.
