Richard Ricardo David

Richard Ricardo David was born October 5, 1968, in St. Thomas, Virgin Islands, to Macy James and Albert David Jr. He was blessed to have three sisters and five brothers. Richard relocated to the States as a young adult. He resided in Liberty, New York, with his brother, John David. Richard was a hard worker, loving father, great provider and kind hearted soul. Throughout his career, he was employed by several companies: UPS for nine years, Great American Supermarket, Arc, New Hope, Clean Earth and various other warehouses in the State of Florida. Richard met his wife Rosalind Denise White. in 1992, in Liberty, New York. They were united in holy matrimony November 16, 2000. Richard and his wife were inseparable for 31 years. The family relocated to Florida in 2003. Richard loved basketball, working and providing for his family. He loved entertaining, listening to old school R &B Music and telling jokes. His laughter was contagious . He could put a smile on everyone's face when he laughed. His one saying was “If you don't know me, call me Richard, only my family and wife can call me “Rich”. His favorite scripture reading which he knew by memory was Psalm 23. The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.” Richard was preceded in death by his father, Albert David, Jr. and son Darren Malik David. On November 29, 2022, surrounded by his loving wife, children and grandchildren, the Lord in His infinite wisdom deemed it timely to dispatch an angel to Richard’s bedside to escort him to his eternal resting place. His departure is a deep and personal loss to his family and many friends and he will be greatly missed by them all.
