Reginald Irvin, Sr.

Reginald I. Irvin, Sr. was born December 11, 1966, in Clermont, Florida to a loving mom and dad. Reginald was a fun-loving child, very eager to help in any and every situation. He was the last-born child of six siblings. Reginald escaped the hardship of picking oranges and getting spankings as he was the last of the six. Reginald was loved by so many people and special friends. One of his favorite things to do was, play and watch football. He enjoyed calling around during a football game and tease family and friends of their team losses. Reginald was educated in the Lake County Public Schools. After from graduating high school, Reginald left the nest to attend Mary Holmes College in Mississippi. Upon his return home, he enrolled into the Law Enforcement Academy for Correctional Officers at Lake Vocational Tech in Eustis, Florida. He was hired at the Lake County Sheriff's Office after the completion of his course of study. Reginald worked there eighteen years before retiring. Reginald was raised in a loving Christian home. He was baptized at an early age by the late Elder Ira Lee Wootson at Church of God in Christ where he remained many years into his adulthood. He later joined Christ Centered Fellowship Church, under the leadership of his cousin, Elder Adrian T. Manley before his passing. Reginald loved bible study. If he was not at his church, he was at Greater Harmony Missionary Baptist Church continuing his bible study. He was eager to learn the word and never hesitated to question what he did not know or understand. He was preceded in death by his sister, Cassandra Irvin; Brother, Antonio Irvin; Grandparents: Minnie Miller, Leonard Gibson, and Delia Irvin; Great Grand- mother, Susie Lucas; Aunts: Louise Threat, Henrietta Irvin, and Mariah Irvin Brazil; Uncles: Raymond and Lynn Gibson, Joseph and Walter Lee Irvin; and God- mother: Evelyn Brown Belcher. Reginald leaves to Cherish his memories: Parents: Eddie and Susie Irvin Sr.: Children: Reginald Irvin Jr. (Lindsey), Erica Irvin, al of Mt. Dora, Florida, Tia Irvin of Tavares, Florida, Tonyneshia Jackson of Clermont, Florida; Grandchildren: Trey, Anaysia, ke'Laura, Drayden, Ja'hnayzvia, Camille, and Miracle, Sisters: Angelia McKinnon (Tony) of Wesley Chapel, Lashawn Irvin of Groveland, Florida; Brother: Eddie Irvin Jr. (Erma) of Groveland, Florida; Nephew: Master Jeremy McKinnon of Kissimmee, Florida; Nieces: Ashley Irvin of Ocala, Florida, Candice McKinnon of Los Angeles California, LaToya Irvin of Mt.
