Pastor Henry Lee Bolden Sr.

Pastor Henry Lee Bolden, Sr. was born in October 13th, 1949 in Apopka, Florida to parents Sepher Bolden, Sr. and Frances Bolden. He was educated in the Orange County Public Schools. He graduated from Phyllis Wheatley School in Apopka, Florida, with the class of 1968. Henry had several occupations throughout his life. He was employed with the Orange County Public School Board for 27 years at Apopka High School. His job title was Maintenance Manager. He was a dedicated Blue Darter. Other occupations included Bolden's Concrete, with his brothers for many decades. Lastly, he Pastored the Community Holy Temple Church of Apopka, Florida. He enjoyed preaching and teaching the word of God. He often encouraged others in the Lord. He loved to worship and play his guitar. His Favorite Song was: "So many falling by the wayside". One of his favorite scriptures was John 10: 28-30. Pastor Bolden lived a full and meaningful life. He took pride in taking care of his family, spending time with his family, and creating precious memories. Time to Serve Pastor Henry was a faithful and dedicated servant of God. His church affiliation early in his life were St. Paul AME Church of Apopka, Florida, and the 10th Street Church of God in Christ in Apopka, Florida. He was a member of Community Holy Temple of Apopka, Florida under the leadership of the late Bishop Earlene Wagner where he served faithfully for 50 plus years. He served as Assistant pastor. Following, Pastor Wagner's transition to heaven; he became the Pastor of Community Holy Temple Church in which he pastored for 10 years. Henry was preceded in death by parents: Sepher Bolden, Sr. & Frances Brown. Daughter Tammy Bolden, Sisters: Doretha Williams, Evelyn Washington, Brothers: Marion, Melvin, Jule, & Sepher Jr. Bolden. A Time to Mourn He leaves to cherish his precious memories: Wife, Mrs Louette Bolden for 28 years, whom he loved dearly. Son: Henry Bolden, Jr. (Antoinette) Apopka, FL Daughters: Quakneshia Arnold, (Longwood, FL) Quaiedra Arnold, (Apopka, FL) Jakerra Bolden (Apopka, FL). Grandchildren: La'Reine L. Bolden & Alahni L. Sparkman, Siblings: Kathy Day (Rodney) Lillie Allen (Stacy), Sylvester Bolden (Mary), Sister-in-laws: Eula Mae Bolden, Betty "Pat" Bolden, Doris Arnold, Rose Taylor (Reginald, Sr.) Cynthia Cason (Herbert), Deborah Jordan (Wayne), Linda Hamilton, Terri Johnson (Corey), Bernie Hamilton, Lamar Hamilton, Calvin White, Pastor Willie Busby (Lena), Freddie Busby (Mary), Carolyn Busby, Libbie Florence (Bishop Arthur), Marion Johnson (Holmes). Brother-in-law: Richard Washington and host of nieces, nephews, and sorrowing friends.
