Margie Karen Pinkard

A Time to Be Born Minister Margie Karen Pinkard was born to the late Altamease Greene on july 21, 1953, in Harlem, New York. She graduated from Bethel High School in Bethel, Connecticut, Class of 1971. She later went on to earn her Nursing Certification from the Area Vocational Technical Center in Tavares, Florida, on July 16, 1986. Margie dedicated her career to serving others as a Licensed Practical Nurse and was a lifelong learner, earning numerous certifications within the healthcare industry. A Time to Serve She never truly retired. Margie's love for service included working a 40-year career in the health care industry as a Licensed Practical Nurse, predominantly in Assisted living and long-term Nursing care facilities. Her home church was Lisbon Church of God, where she was ordained as a licensed Minister in 2014. She served faithfully as President of the Women's Ministry and as a member of the Prophetic Team. She was passionate about her church family and poured her time into serving her community. A Time to Love She was a QUEEN! Margie deeply loved spending time with her tamily and triends. She cherished all things beautiful and had a special love for theatre, plays, and artwork, and remained an avic reader throughout her life. She truly enjoyed traveling and had a dream list of destinations she hoped to visit in the years ahead. Her tavorite way to travel was cruising the high seas with family and triends. Among her favorite land destinations were Israel Alaska, and Hawaii. We cannot forget the unwavering love she had for her beloved fur babies, "Comfort" and "Cashmere," who spent most days napping on her lap. A Time to Transition On October 24, 2025, at the young age of 72, Minister Margie Karen Pinkard heard the calling of God and took flight to meet her Savior. For the Word of God declares, "To be absent from the ody is to be present with the Lord. Imagine the peace tha now surrounds her in His eternal presence, as she leaps for joy fully restored, smiling upon us... A Time to Cherish Margie was preceded in death by her mother, Altamease Greene, and brother, Gregory Greene. She leaves to cherish her memory: her Children, loving and devoted daughters and son: Jada Harris (Leesburg, FL) Blanding Watson (Lancaster, PA); Siblings: loving brother and sisters: Larry Jim" Greene (Leesburg, FL), Lois Dunn (Danbury FL) and Karie Greene (Leesburg, FL); Grandchildren: dedicated granddaughters laya Harris and Bella Watson and grandsons, Jordan Tucker, Desmond Harris, Jr.; Great-grandchildren: Chanel Tucker, Gianna Tucker and Jordan Tuckerr. Amongst others are her loving Aunt, Lois Hines; niece, Reginya Greene; and nephew, kicky Greene,!" addition to a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
