Luerene Brooks Caddle

Luerene Brooks Caddle was born July 27, 1933, in Camphill, Alabama to Mr. and Mrs. William Wess and Johnnie Lue Patrick Brooks. Mrs. Brooks Caddle confessed Christ at an early age and joined Mt. Sinai Missionary Baptist Church in Waverly, Alabama. She was a faithful member and served as a Sunday School Secretary, Choir member, Mission President, Youth Counselor and Deaconess. She was a true born again Christian and child of God. She worked as a Nurses Aide for many years, she was also a housekeeper and a cook. At a young age, she met and married Mr. W. M. Tucker and to this union three children were born: Dorothy Ann Tucker, Regena Tucker and William Tucker. Mr. Tucker passed away in 1960. In 1967, she married Mr. Willie G. Guice, to this union two children were born: Michael A. Guice and Tony V. Guice. In 1991, Mr. Willie G. Guice passed away. In 1971, Mrs. Brooks Caddle moved to Apopka, Florida. She joined New Hope Missionary Baptist Church where she was a faithful member. She served as a member of the Mission Board, Prayer Band, Deaconess Board, Choir and Nurses Guild. In 2011, she married Mr. Luton A. Caddle. Mrs. Brooks Caddle was preceded in death by her parents; Mr. William Wess Brooks and Mrs. Johnnie Lue Patrick Brooks; spouses; Mr. W. M. Tucker and Mr. Willie G. Guice; siblings: Willie Mae Rowell, William Wess Brooks, Jr., Mary Ann Woody and Mary Frances Judkins; grandson, William Tucker, Jr. Mrs. Brooks Caddle leaves to cherish her precious memories: her husband, Luton A. Caddle of Apopka, Florida; five children: Dorothy A. Britten (Howard, Sr.) and Regena Griffin (Roscoe, Sr.) all of Apopka, Florida, William Tucker (Shinka) of Camphill, Alabama, Michael A. Guice of Apopka, Florida, Tony V. Guice (Lena) of Woodstock, Georgia and stepson: Stephen Hinds of Apopka, Florida; siblings: Julia Goodwin, Eustis, Florida, Bessie B. Dawkins (Herman) of Fruitland Park, Florida, Eddie B. Brooks (Paula) of Apopka, Florida, Mary Davis of Leesburg, Florida, Doris Gunn (Marion) of Albany, Georgia; eleven grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; a host of other relatives and many sorrowing friends.
