He was their precious blessing. God decided to call His son Jarris home on Good Friday, March 29, 2024. Jarris knew and loved the Lord. He was a hearer and a doer of God’s word. He also trusted the word of God. At a young age, Jarris joined and was baptized at Greater Mt. Carmel Missionary Baptist Church by Rev. G. Christopher Clark, along with his cousin, Dontae. He later attended Lakeside Church, in Oakland, Florida. One of his many favorite scriptures was, I Peter 5:10-11, “But May the God of all Grace, who hath called us to His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you suffered a while, make you perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you. To him be the glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen”. Jarris attended First United Methodist Church School of Orlando from Pre-K to Second Grade. He attended Hiawassee Elementary and Robinswood Middle Schools. He graduated from Ocoee High School in the class of 2007. He entered the workforce after graduation and became employed at AT&T. Because of his love of helping others, he worked in various customer service positions. Jarris’ last employment was as a Customer Service Sales Representative for Quality Craftsman. Jarris was our “Gentle Giant “. He was passionate about people and always encouraged others to follow their dreams and live to the best of their ability. He was raised in a home of love and was surrounded by love, “especially by his aunt, Jackie, who loved him dearly”. Jarris was preceded in death by his Paternal Grandparents: Willie McCall and Lillie McCall; and a host of loving relatives who have gone before, are standing at the gates of Heaven to welcome Jarris home. He leaves to cherish his memories, his loving Parents: Eddie and Vanessa McCall of Orlando, FL; devoted Grandparents: William and Gladys Swinton of Eustis, FL; Aunts: Maple James (John) of Willis, Texas, Jackie Matthews (Garvin) of Apopka, FL, Carrie “Dola” Miller (Norman) of Raeford, NC; Gussie Simmons and Paula McCall of Miami, FL, and Lyndia McCall Wright of Baltimore, MD; Uncles: William “Bill” Swinton, IIIof Apopka, FL, Bennie McCall (Mary) of Lake Mary, FL, Kevin “Bo” McCall (Lola) of Orlando, FL, Donald Johnson (Cathy) of Miramar, FL, and Gary McCall of Miami, FL; Great Uncle, James Swinton of Jacksonville, FL; Great Aunts: Bernice Hayes and Rosetta Boone of Eustis, Florida; One Stepsister, Twalla Williams; First Cousins: Denise and Jalen Duece; Godparents: Jerome and Gigi Holloway; Special Friend, Megan Pemberton and her daughter, Jade. A host of loving cousins, other family, and close friends. A special connection with HIS “Nikki Nix” and an endearing friendship with Lacie Hazen.
