He attended school in Apopka, Florida and graduated from Apopka High School in 1981. After graduating high school, Greg joined the United States Army and proudly served his country from 1981-1984. Once he returned home, he made his roots in Apopka, Florida. Many people knew Greg for his big heart and big dreams. Greg was passionate about his work in the hospitality industry and served the people for many years, always leaving a lasting impression on anyone he met. Greg also made time to pour into the youth of the community by coaching sports early on when his children were younger. In 2004, a dream came true when Greg opened his own restaurant names Greg's Place right in the heart of Apopka. He enjoyed many long days and nights living his his dream. Though short-lived, his restaurant was one of his biggest accomplishments. His next adventure would be to open a food truck which he was in the process of planning. In between bringing his visions to life, Greg spent his time pouring into his family and community. Greg was truly a beautiful soul. He was very caring and committed father, son, brother, uncle, and cousin. He always made time for his children and family and never missed an opportunity to spend quality time. Greg was unexpectedly taken from us, but we trust in the Lord's plan and know that His will is perfect. We will find peace in our many fond memories and he will always live on in our hearts, He is missed and will never e forgotten. He leaves to cherish precious memories to: his Mother: Alvetcher Jones; of Fern Park, Florida: Father Jimmy Reed; of Los Angeles California; Daughters: Deirdre Anderson and Ariyanna St. Clair; both of Apopka, Florida; Sons: Gregory Reed, Jr. of Deltona, Florida and Deontai Moody of Charleston, South Carolina; Children of the heart: Shi St. Clair; of Apopka, Florida Daequan Moody, Jonathan Moody, and Jaiden Moody; of Orlando, Florida. Siblings: Jeanette Williams of Fern Park, Florida and Marvin Reed; of Apopka, Florida; Grandchildren: Jamari Ware; of Apopka, Florida and Gregory Reed III; of Deltona, Florida; Special Friends: Kutina Moody; of Orlando, Florida; nieces, nephews, beloved cousins the Holmes', Armstrong's Rouse's , Breedlove's and Scott's and a host of other loving relative and friends,
