Deacon Gabriel L. Beauford

Deacon Gabriel L. Beauford was born on January 10, 1982, in Winter Park, Florida, to his mother, Gwendolyn Beauford. He attended Orange County Public Schools and graduated from Winter Park High School in Winter Park, Florida. Deacon Gabriel was a devoted husband, father, and man of faith whose presence left a lasting impact on all who knew him. A dedicated athlete in his early years, he played football throughout high school and continued at SUNY Canton, while also spending time on the basketball court. At the age of twenty-two, he began a lifelong journey with the love of his life, Sandra Beauford, later building a career in trucking and a life centered on family. They were married in 2012 and welcomed a daughter and two sons together. A man of deep faith, he was baptized as an adult and became a Deacon in 2013. He was a constant presence in his church and community, always ready to support others. He also served as a mentor to youth through Men of Integrity and coached youth football, guiding young people with patience and care. Deacon Gabriel loved football and was an absolute fan of FSU (Florida State University) football team. He was also a loyal fan of the Chicago Bulls basketball team. Though quiet by nature, his humor was unforgettable. Above all, he was known for his kindness and the way he treated everyone like family. In the days ahead, as grief feels heavy and his absence is deeply felt, we hold onto the words he often shared, “Keep moving forward, and don’t look back”. Not as a call to forget, but as a reminder to carry his strength with us - to move forward with the same resilience, faith, and love he shared throughout his life. Deacon Gabriel L. Beauford was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Willie Walton; mother-in-law, Hilda Candis; 2 uncles, Anthony F. Banks and Tyrone S. Banks. Left to cherish his memory...his loving wife, Sandra T. Beauford of Winter Park, FL; mother, Gwendolyn Beauford of Eatonville, FL; children: Destiny R. Walton Correa (Humberto) of Orlando, FL, Gabriella K. Beauford, Xavier L. Beauford, and Anthony F. Beauford, all of Winter Park, FL; siblings, Shawn L. Beauford (Natasha) of Longwood, FL and Christopher G. Beauford (Twyneisha) of Eatonville, FL and; 3 brothers-in-law, 2 sisters-in-law; mother-in-law; Helen Walton of Vidalia, Georgia; grandchildren: Miles E. Correa and Valerie M. Correa, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other loving relatives, and sorrowing friends.
