Frank McDuffie, Jr.

Frank McDuffie, Jr was born on February 27th, 1952 in Oakland Florida. He was welcomed into this life by his loving parents, Mr. Frank McDuffie Sr. and Mrs. Bessie Powell McDuffie. Frank's early years were spent in the township of Oakland, Florida. Frank was the 5th child of seven, being the 2nd eldest son of four brothers that roamed the neighborly and friendly city streets. In Fact, it is still spoken today "Those McDuffie Boys were the most handsome young men to walk the streets of Oakland!" Frank received his education at Oakland Elementary, Charles R. Drew and later graduated at Lakeview High in Winter Garden, Florida. He was a mannerable and always impressive man. Frank was taught at an early age to work hard! In doing so, he became gainfully employed as a Citrus Worker, a Stucco/Construction Worker, an Electrical Apprentice and later became a Cosmetologist where he studied at Westside Vocational Institute! Before Departing this Earth, Frank gave his Life to GOD and accepted Jesus as His Lord and Personal Saviour. In His Own Words Frank Said: "His Heart was Filled with Joy and He wasn't afraid to Die!" Frank was preceded in death by his mother, Bessie Powell McDuffie, sisters, Alberto Coates, Marva Daniels, Ethel Dixon, Davida McDuffie, brothers, Jarvis McDuffie and Sammy Howard. He Leaves to Cherish his Memories: his children, Michelle Lundy (Tone) of Clermont, Florida, Kelody Jackson of Valdosta, Georgia, Frantay Hyatt (Donovan) of Ocoee, Florida, Levinski McDuffie of Orlando, Florida, Tremaine Hodge of Winter Garden, Florida and Frankie McDuffie of Orlando, Florida; father, Frank McDuffie, Sr.; siblings, Pastor James C. McDuffie (Emma) of Clermont, Florida, Alton McDuffie (Tammy) of Orlando, Florida, Johnny McDuffie of Apopka, Florida, Dwayne McDuffie of Orlando, Florida, David McDuffie of Orlando, Florida, Mamie Mclaren of Orlando, Florida, Sharon McDuffie of Mount Dora, Florida, Angelica McDuffie of Orlando, Florida; Craig Robinson of Orlando, Florida and Rosa Kee of Apopka, Florida; special friend, Emma Jean Wilder of Orlando, Florida; sixteen grandchildren; seven, great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and sorrowing friends.
