Frank James Ford, Sr.

Frank was born to Jack Ford Sr. and Edna Ford on October 18, 1965 in Orlando, Florida. He confessed Christ at an early age. The Lord in his infinite wisdom deemed it timely to call our beloved Frank to his eternal resting place on December 21, 2018. His departure is leaving a void in the hearts of his family and friends and he will be greatly missed. Frank graduated from Osceola High School in 1983 in Kissimmee, Florida. He received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Education from Auburn University. After leaving the basketball realm, Frank would continue to make a mark on those he met. He was a mentor and humble man who had a profound effect on all those he came in contact with. His professional career began in the Public School System as a teacher at Osceola High School and later as a Recruiting Coach at Virginia Commonwealth University. He held many positions over the years with his final tenure as a Behavior Health Counselor at West Central Georgia Regional Hospital in Columbus, Georgia. Frank was preceded in death by his Father Jack Ford Sr., Brother, Jack Ford Jr. and Sisters, Eloise Ford and Mary Washington. Frank leaves to cherish his loving memories: Daughters: Ivy Lofton of Orlando, Florida, Jordan Ford, and Laruen Ford of Richmond, Virginia; Son: Frank Ford, Jr. of Richmond, Virginia; 3 Grandchildren: Rakiyah Peterson, Iviana Corbin and Ezekiel Gilchrease, Mother: Edna Ford of Archer, Florida; Sister: Betty Holmes (Hugh) of Archer, Florida, Sisterin-law: Antoinette Ford of Green Cove Spring, Florida; Nieces: Shonve Washington of Lakeland, Florida, Shanyyce Bailey (Joel) of Jacksonville, North Carolina, Donna Renea Battles of Maclenny, Florida, Camysha Gooden (Anthony) of Ft.
