Ella D. Hudson

Ella Delores Ford was born on April 09, 1940, in Orlando, Florida to the late Abraham Ford and Villester Thompson Ford. She was educated in the Orange County Public Schools System, a graduate of Jones High School. After graduation she attended cosmetology school and worked briefly in a beauty shop as a beautician. Ella was affectionally called "Teenie" by her family. On February 21, 1957, she married the love of her life Mr. Willie B Hudson, and from this union two children were born Eddie and Felecia. She taught her children to work hard and be honest and always tell the truth. Teenie worked for Headstart as a cook, afterwards she started her own home child care service where she nurtured and cared for numerous of children who went on to lead successful lives. Teenie joined Antioch Primitive Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Rev. W. D. Judge. Later on she joined Tabernacle of the Enlightened Church where she served faithfully until her transitioning. Teenie enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family. She loved to cook for family and friends. Teenie was a confidant for many family members and friends. They looked to her for leadership and guidance. Teenie was preceded in death by her parents Abraham Ford and Villester Thompson Ford. In 2002 she lost her husband of 45 years Willie B. Hudson. She also lost her brother Albert Ford, son Eddie Hudson and grandson Jermaine Deamus, Tennie was loved by many and will be truly missed by all. She leaves to cherish her loving memories, a loving and devoted Daughter, Felicia Hudson, Brother Lorenzo Ford of Orlando, FL; Granddaughter Jasmine (Edwin) Henderson of Orlando, FL; Grandson, Jamorris Harvey of Puma, GA; Great grandchildren, Kamille Green, Brycen Henderson, Nylah Henderson; a devoted and loving God-daughter, Linda Crumpton of Orlando, FL and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
