Reflections of Life The Legendary Reverend Cleve Gipson was born August 15, 1932 in Macon County, Georgia to Willie Gipson and Louise Wells Gipson. Reverend Gipson was a wonderful man, who loved preaching God’s Word. He was the Pastor of the Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church in Osteen, Florida for many years. He originated his singing group, “The Singing Kings of Joy.” He was the assistant pastor with Reverend Roosevelt Green at St. Luke Missionary Baptist Church in Sanford, Florida. Reverend Gipson will be missed by all and his memories will be cherished forever. One son preceded him in death, Isaiah Walker, Sr. and his parents, Willie and Louise Wells Gipson. Reverend Gipson leaves to cherish precious memories to his beloved Wife, Mary Ann Gipson; four Sons, Cleveland Gipson (Ernestine) of Rochester, New York, Henry Charles Gipson (Faye) of Hartford, Connecticut, Linfert Meyers (Deborah) of Fort Worth, Texas, and Anthony Dixon of Deltona, Florida; two daughters, Lillian Gipson Malone of Sanford, Florida and Yolanda Dixon of Sanford, Florida; one step daughter, Christine Redington (Tom) of Deltona, Florida; one daughter-in-law, Alfreda Walker-Tarver; two brothers, Zebbie Gibson (Flora) and Reverend John T. Gibson, all of Buffalo, New York; one sister, Reverend Mattie Gibson-Taylor; thirty-nine grandchildren; sixty-six great grandchildren; eight great, great grandchildren; one god daughter, Elaine Cummings-Edwards of Atlanta, Georgia; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and sorrowing friends.
