Charles Givens, Jr.

Charles Givens Jr. entered this world on August 17, 1968, in St. Cloud, Florida to the late Charles Givens Sr. and Mary K. Graham-Givens. Charles grew up in Winter Garden, Florida living with his Paternal Grandparents Allen Givens Sr. and Viola Givens since he was 4 years old. They have preceded him in death. Charles attended Orange County Public Schools graduating from West Orange High School in 1986. He spent two years in the Marines. Charles was a certified forklift operator, he worked with Southeast Unloading for 20 years until the company closed in Florida. His most recent employment was with Outdoor Living Products, Inc. since August 2019, where he established a special friendship with Mr. Marvin. Charles met the love of his life Mia Nowells i n 1992 Charles and Mia lived their lives together according to their terms. They have 3 beautiful children and 2 grandchildren. Charles and Mia were together for 33½ years and their relationship was like no other. Charles and Mia Marie their union permanent in the eyes of God on September 3, 2023, when they eloped in Las Vegas, Nevada. Charles and Mia told his Aunt Trilbye and Petura Tate about their plans o f eloping. In attendance were their children and Keith and Daytonia Mitchell whom they shared a special bond with. Once they returned to Florida they announced their BIG secret t o the world. Charles left this world suddenly and so many people are hurting from his absence. He loved his community and was well known throughout the city of Winter Garden, Eatonville, Orlando, St. Cloud. He loved fishing with his childhood friends and his neighbors. Charles would enter fishing tournaments and have won tournaments in the past. He also had a passion for Pit Bulls which he has passed t o his children. H e made sure to make them comfortable with does and not t o have a fear o f them no matter what. They all have a love for dogs because of their Dad. Charles leaves precious memories to cherish him with his wife Mia Givens, his children Devonne Givers Sr. Ariana Givens, Dante Givens, His grandchildren Devonne Givens 3r. and Ailani Givens. He also survived by his siblings Dionne Givens and Shakendra Kenon (Jason) He is survived by his special aunts that he lived with, a s siblings and were present until his demise. Ruth Ann Harpe (Willie Ed deceased). Trilbye Haggins (Emmitt), Diane Mathews (Greg) A host of aunts, uncles, nieces nephews, cousins, other relatives, the Winter Garden community and many friends and colleagues.
