Barbara Jean Davis

Barbara Jean “Toot “ Davis was born on December 28, 1957 in Umatilla, Florida to the late Allen Davis Sr. and Martha P. Davis. She attended Umatilla Public schools and graduated from Umatilla High School in 1977. Barbara had a love and desire to work with children so she further her education at Lake County Vocational in Eustis where she earned her Child Development Associate (CDA) in Child Care. Barbara was employed by Lake Community Action Agency, Inc Head Start / Early Head Start Program, Eustis, Florida She began her christian walk at the Church of God Umatilla under the pastorage of the late Rev. T. L. Chenault. Barbar later affilated herself with Friendship C.M.E. church in Tavares under the leadership of Rev. Michael J. Watkins, where she served faithfully until she went to her eternal home in glory. She was preceded in death by her father Allen Davis Sr, and brother Allen Davis Jr. On February 18, 2017 the Lord called Barbara from her earthly home to a home in glory. Barbara leaves to to cherish her precious memories to: Two sons, Marcus A. Davis Sr. (Kia) of Tavares, Fl., Reginald T. Davis(BJ) of Eustis, Fl. Two daughters, Arnitra S. Davis of Lake Nona, Fl., Bianca L. Davis of Lakeland, Fl. Six grandchildren, Marcus Jr., Kayden, Alana, Zoie, Reginald Jr., Kryon, Mother , Martha P. Davis of Umatilla, Fl. Four Sisters, Thelma Elaine of Imoaklee, Fl., Ethel M. Young, of Eustis, Fl., Alice M. Johnson of Mt. Dora, Fl., Wanda D. Walker (Reginald) of Umatilla, Fl. Brothers and Sisters by Grace, William J. Hutto Sr. of Umatilla, Vernon L. Hutto (Sharon) of Tavares, Fl., Ellis Hutto of Orlando, Fl., Dwayne Hutto (Mia ) of Mt. Dora, Fl., Sheree Hutto of Orlando, Elise Hutto or Orlando, Fl., Denise Davis of Bronx, N.Y. Two Aunts, Shirley Bean (Willie ) of Mt. Dora, Fl., Beatrice Williams (Clarence) of Eustis, Florida Five uncles, Leroy Patrick (Pat) of Ft. Pierce, Fl., Ernest Davis (Mae) of Lisbon, Fl., Benny Davis (Sharmaine) of Umatilla, Fl., Clarence Davis of Avon, Conn., Rollie L. Davis of Hartford, Conn. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins and sorrowing friends. A Church Family that loved her dearly
