Anthony M. Raper

Mr. Anthony M. Raper, affectionately known as “Tony”, son of the late Ormistone and Ena Raper, was born November 23, 1956, in Port of Spain, Trinidad, Tobago. At an early age, Tony came to the states where he was educated in the Boston Public School System. Tony was a hard worker from an early age. He had a transportation company that he enjoyed running. Being the hard-working entrepreneur he was, he also became a DJ. He enjoyed bringing music to the masses and often spoke candidly about the block parties, basement parties, and him traveling from Boston to New York to DJ. True to his Caribbean culture, Tony looked forward to the Caribbean Carnivals, which he enjoyed attending and watching on live-stream from around the world. He was also a huge fan of the NFL’s New England Patriots. Tony later moved to Florida, where he worked for Central Florida Group Homes as a Behavior Assistant. During this time, he met and married his wife, Lushell Raper, in February 2008. Tony was preceded in death by his parents: Ormistone and Ena Raper; brothers: Michael Raper, and Cleophus Bynoe; sister, Grace Raper; mother-in-law, Lula B. Prince; brothers-in-law, Kenny Massey, Amos Bradford, and Marcus Prince; sisters-in-law: Frances Bradford, Carla Anderson, and Carlette Anderson. He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving Wife of 17 years, Lushell Raper of Apopka, Florida; Sons: Anthony Pantaleon (Melissa), Cory Raper, Christopher Raper, Cleophus Raper (Tiffany), all of Boston, Massachusetts; Daughters, Alecha Pantaleon of Boston, Massachusetts, Latravia Patterson, Jameis Orr, Racquel Zow, and Mariah Orr, all of Apopka, Florida; Brothers, Desmond Raper (Odessa); Sisters: Patricia Cowart (Norris), Jennifer Raper, Carol Garnett (Jerome), all of Boston, Massachusetts; Brothers-in-law: Marvin Prince, Melvin Prince (Andretta), and Joseph Anderson, all of Apopka, Florida; Sisters-in-law: Darlene Massey and Sally Campbell, both of Apopka, Florida; Grandchildren: Taylor, Anthony, Jr., Avery, Alyssa, Alliyah, Nariyah, Kelendria, Kai, Kayloni, Kasch, Christopher, Camryn, and Danikah, all of Boston, Massachusetts, Jamarco, Jamauri, Jamiyah, Nishira, Robert, Kailey, Madison, Amiya, and Antonio, all of Apopka, Florida; Godchildren: Anesha Coley, and Laquadra Anderson; Life-long Friends: Ian George, Andre
