We must adhere to these guidelines so that we all can remain safe and secure during this crisis. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation W. T. Rowell was a humble and loving man. He always had a smile on his face and a good story to tell. On Tuesday, August 25, 2020 the Lord called W. T. Rowell at the age of 83 home to be embraced in His loving arms. W. T. Rowell was born July 9, 1937 in Waverly, Alabama to parents, John Rowell and Jimmie Lee Rowell. Newly married W. T. Rowell and his wife Willie Mae Rowell relocated to Apopka, Florida. During this unification, three children were born, Darren Rowell, Basil Rowell and Luquenda Rowell. They were marred for 40 plus years and have enjoyed raising family their in Florida until Willie Mae Rowell passed away on June 9, 1997. W. T. Rowell was employed by Muscle White Chicken Farm, Jazz Feed and later construction throughout his adulthood. He worked at Southland Construction of Apopka until he retired in 2002. W. T. Rowell was a hard worker and was passionate about his family, friends and job. W. T. Rowell was known to be charismatic, humorous and family oriented. He enjoyed being the life of the party and bringing laughter to everyone. He loved his family and friends and was an amazing father and brother. He loved his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He touched the hearts of many and will be forever missed. W. T. Rowell was preceded in death by his father, Johnny Rowell; mother, Jimmie Lee Rowell; and sisters: Lula McKenzie and Christine Reed. W. T. Rowell leaves to cherish his memory…his children: Darren A. Rowell of Apopka, Florida, Basil S. Rowell of Norfiolk, Virginia, and Laquenda E. Rowell of Apopka, Florida; sister, Lillie Bee Reed of Las Vegas, Nevada; daughter-in-law, Marta Rowell of Norfolk, Virginia; grandsons: Marqius Howard, Sr., Darren A. Rowell, Jr., Darius Rowell, Sr, Davon Dicks and Basil S. Rowell II, all of Apopka, Florida, Mark C. Edwards of Brooklyn, New York, Yosif A. Rowell, Ameer B. Rowell and Yonus B. Rowell, all of Norfolk, Virginia; granddaughters: Charismas Byrd, Danielle Rowell, Cecilia Dowdell, Shana D. Randolph and Tynesha Thomas, all of Apopka, Florida; great grandsons: Brandon Henry, Bradley Stribling, Braxton Randolph, Darius Rowell, Jr., Dariion Rowell, Malachi Samson Rowell and Darmill’ia D’millio Rowell, all of Apopka, Florida; great granddaughters: Zahara Dowdell, Zariyah Dowdell, Dariyah Rowell, Elmani Williams and E’Lani Wright, all of Apopka, Florida; and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
