Tommy Lugene Holman, Jr

Tommy Lugene Holman was born in Dawson, Georgia on October 15, 1953 to Samuel “S. T.” Leary, Sr. and Mary Ella Holt Holman. Tommy was the fifth child of twelve children. As a teenager because of his mother’s untimely demise, Tommy moved to Hagerstown, Maryland to live with his oldest brother. Shortly thereafter, he moved to Orlando, Florida to live with his aunt. He attended school at George Washington Carver High School. As a young man, Tommy was united in holy matrimony to Ira Littles, to that union two children were born. He later met and married Kimberly Holman. Tommy was a dedicated worker for the City of Orlando where he supervised and retired with high achievements in the Parks and Recreation Department. After retiring he continued his journey of helping others by working at Kids Café, his daughter’s home daycare and son’s catering business. Tommy had a heart for anyone that needed help especially children. He was a true sports fan. He played for the city league and was a big Gator fan. His life legacy was the true love he showed for his children, grandchildren and friends. His love will always remain in our hearts. Tommy was preceded in death by his father, Samuel “S.T.” Leary, Sr. and mother, Mary Ella Holt Holman, brothers, Levi “Gay” Holman, Jr., Emmett C. “Dee” Holman, Sr. and Samuel “S.T.” Leary, Jr. Tommy leaves to cherish precious memories to: wife, Kimberly Holman of Orlando, Florida; daughters, Marlo M. Holman and Andrea Collier (loved as a daughter) both of Orlando, Florida; son, Avorice J. Holman (Rashaan) of Orlando, Florida; granddaughters, Jessica Baker, Jasmine Holman, Kiana Holman, Shaanacee Wilson, Kameron Holman and Krystal Collier (loved as a granddaughter), all of Orlando, Florida; grandsons, Avorice J. Holman, Jr., Freddie Davis, both of Orlando, Florida; great grandson, Jaden Moore of Orlando, Florida; great granddaughter, Kinsley Moore of Orlando, Florida; godson, Reginald King of Orlando, Florida; sisters, Beauty Mae “Beaut” Leary of Dawson, Georgia, Mary Ann Sims of Albany Georgia, Vickie Denise Holman of Hagerstown, Maryland; brothers, James “Zebby” Holman (Pamela) of Braddyville, Iowa, Johnny “David” Holt (Sheridan) of Hagerstown, Maryland, Jackie “PeeWee” Holman of Clarksville, Virginia, Larry Holman (Sherry) of Albany, Georgia and Garry Holman of Huntingdon, Pennsylvania; Ronald “Chuck” Holman and Avarice “Gino” Holman (Jeaneen) both of Hagerstown, Maryland; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
