    Mother Louise McCrimon

    February 14, 1931 - October 16, 2021

    Her Legacy… Mrs. Louise McCrimon (Smalls) was born February 14, 1931 to the late Ella “Nora” Moultrie and Frank Jenkins in Frogmore, South Carolina. On October 16, 2021, she heard the voice of the Lord say, “Servant, well done. Come, rest from your labor!” And, quietly, Mrs. Louise closed her eyes and entered eternal rest. Her Life… Mrs. Louise was educated in the schools of Frogmore. In 1950, Mrs. Louise relocated to Kissimmee, Florida with her uncle, Joseph Smith where she met and married the love of her life, “Dee”. During her early years, Mrs. Louise was employed by Mikell Mill of Kissimmee and a domestic servant. For many years, she worked throughout the vegetable farms and citrus groves of Central Florida. In her later years, she was employed by Mercury Marine, St. Cloud. At a young age, she accepted Jesus Christ and joined St. James A. M. E. Zion Church in 1952. Mrs. Louise loved her church and devoted her time, talent and treasure in support of the ministry throughout her life. She served as Stewardess and choir member. Mrs. Louise was preceded in death by her parents and her sisters… Julia, Dolly and Evelina; and her beloved husband, David “Dee” McCrimon. Mrs. Louise is survived her sons: Robert, Willie (Shirley), Collins (Shirley), Ulysses (Priscilla), David (Wanda), Ronald (Doravia), and Roger; daughters: Josephine (Thomas), Lillie (Sydney), Gloria, Louella, Melissa, Vernell, Rhonda, Edith, Elaine, Etha, Bernadette (Michael) and Mala; brother in-law, George; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, a great-great grandchild; nieces, nephews, cousins, friends; special friends: Mr. Ira Hines Mr. Ronald Hines, Mr. & Mrs. Willie G. McGee, Mrs. Annette Burke, Mr. Robert Lester, Rev. Hezekiah King, Mr. Carlos Jackson, and the St. James A.M.E. Zion Church family; adopted sons: Anthony “Tony” Duncan, and the Thirsty Thursday Crew.
