Name: James Hooker Born: January 5, 1942 Parents: The Late Theoda and Mary Elizabeth McCrimon Demise: Terrace of Kissimmee Nursing Home (While in Rehab) James was a 1962 graduate of Kissimmee High School. He was in the army from 1967 to 1969 where he received two purple hearts for injuries sustained in Vietnam. He was employed by Rinker Materials for 34 years (1969-2004) as a truck driver until retirement. James was a deacon at St. Luke Missionary Baptist Church over District 4. He was a loving and caring husband and father and a well thought of man. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. James was preceded in death by his wife of 32 years, Doretha B. Hooker. He later married Lucille Hooker and they were married for 20 years until his passing. He was also preceded in death by his Mother, Mary Elizabeth McCrimon; Father, Theoda McCrimon; Sister, Mary (Tootsie) McCrimon; Brother, Ralph McCrimon; and Son, Jimmy Hooker. He leaves to mourn his passing his loving Wife, Lucille Hooker; Daughters: Ellen Hooker Stoudemire (Donald) of Kissimmee, Florida, Lily L. Jenkins (Donald) of Atlanta, Georgia and Felicia King of Ocala, Florida; Brothers, James McCrimon (Dianne) of West Palm Beach, Florida, Zettie McCrimon (Carla), Paul McCrimon and Jimmy McCrimon, all of Kissimmee, Florida; Sisters: Mary McCrimon Sermon (Alphonso) and Ola Gray (Todd), both of Kissimmee, Florida; 2 Grandchildren; 7 Great Grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of other loving relatives friends and his St.Luke church family.
