James Arthur Fisher

March 25, 1942 - January 14, 2022

James Arthur Fisher was born March 25, 1942 in Edgefield, South Carolina to Woodrow Fisher, Sr. and Willie Mae Garrett Fisher. He attended Brewer High School. James left home at a very young age and made Winter Garden, Florida his new home. He loved traveling back to South Carolina to visit love ones, family and friends. James was a hard worker, always busy finding something to do. He worked in the farm industry, construction and other odd jobs. James opened a few restaurants, cooking was his passion. His main joy was his food truck where he served bar-b-que chicken and ribs. Due to medical issues, Mr. Fisher relocated to Guardian Care until he received his wings on January 14, 2022. May his legacy live on in the life of family and friends. James was preceded in death by his wife: Annie Ruth Fisher; parents: Woodrow Fisher, Sr. and Willie Mae Garrett Fisher; sisters, Effie Morgan, Mary Fisher, Minnie Bell Lee and brother, Woodrow Fisher, Jr. He leaves to cherish precious memories to his children: Larry Elmore and Barbara Smith, both of Greenwood, South Carolina, Carolyn Partlow and Angela Fisher, both of Atlanta, Georgia, Tony Fisher of Hudson, New York, Carolyn Coats, Oakland, Florida, Wanda Mills, Winter Garden, Florida, Terri Buchanan, Jamie Fisher and Ciara Thomas, all of Orlando, Florida; one sibling, Bobbie Williams of Greenwood, South Carolina; a host of grandchildren; great grandchildren; aunts, nieces, nephews; cousins; other relatives and friends.
