Freddie Lee Brinson, Sr. was born May 15, 1940 in Quitman, Georgia to parents, Alfred James “AJ” Brinson and Daisy Brinson. Freddie was ordained Deacon in the House of God Church for 60 years. Deacon Freddie Brinson was saved and faithfully served the Lord for over 60 years. He also served as an ordained Deacon and security guard in the House of God Church on both the local and national levels for many years. Freddie received his education at Lake Vo-Tech Training School and Sears. He worked for Sears as a Repair Man for 10 years before opening his own business Brinson’s Appliance Repair, Inc., which remained open for 25 years. Freddie loved to give back to youth and his local community. He was a volunteer for Madd Dads and Citizens on Patrol for the Leesburg Police Department. He also volunteered as a Junior Miss Softball Coach and at the local Middle and High School for several years serving the youth of Leesburg. Freddie was preceded in death by his Father, Alfred James “AJ” Brinson; Mother, Daisy Brinson; Son, Freddie Lee Brinson, Jr.; Brother, Sam Brinson; and Sisters: Annie Bell and Annie Lee. He leaves behind to cherish the legacy of his life his beautiful and loving Wife of 52 years, Bessie Mae Brinson; loving Children: Valorie Burt-Steadman (Carter), Alicia Brinson, Lorrie Simmons, and Gerard Brinson (Teanena); His 6 Brothers; Robert Brinson (Anne), Sammy Brinson (Tripholia), Eddie Brinson (Lenora), Benjamin Brinson (Earline) and Johnnie Brinson (Eva Mae); 6 Sisters; Doris Tucker (Clarence deceased), Christine Scott (Alfonzo), Ruby Morris, and Evelyn Parker (Charles); 9 Grandchildren, 9 Great Grandchildren, and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
