    Annie Mae Clark

    January 14, 1940 - November 3, 2020

Annie Mae Clark, the youngest of the late Daniel and Maggie Jordan, was born on January 14, 1940 in Ambrose, Georgia. She moved to Apopka, Florida in 1955. She attended Westside Technical School where she obtained her Cosmetology License. Annie Mae was a cosmetologist for over 40 years, where she made people look and feel beautiful with the hairstyles she created. Annie Mae enjoyed the outdoors and she especially enjoyed gardening. She had a green thumb and could make anything grow. She would share the fruits of her labor with anyone. She also enjoyed watching professional basketball on TV with her grandkids. Her favorite team was the Orlando Magic. Her favorite pastimes were spending time with her family at family gatherings, Sunday dinners and playing card games. Annie Mae was an active pioneer of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, Plymouth Congregation. She was active in her faith and was a diligent servant for Jehovah. She led Bible Studies and participated in field service. She also enjoyed attending assemblies, conventions and memorials. Our beloved Annie Mae Clark passed from our midst on Tuesday, November 3, 2020. Her untimely departure is truly a deep and personal loss to her family and friends. Annie Mae was preceded in death by her husband: Leon Frank Clark; father, Daniel Jordan; mother, Maggie Lee Jordan; daughter, Annie Sabrina Bradford; brothers: Robert Jordan, Leroy Jordan and Willie Frank Jordan; sisters: Lucille Griffin, Julia Mae Dorsey, and Eula Mae Lawrence; grandson, Sylvester Richardson, Jr. and great granddaughter, Jashari Holloway. She leaves to cherish her memory: one son, Wayne Jordan (Debora) of Orlando, Florida; five daughters: Patricia Jordon of Dania, Florida, Barbara Wood (Clinton), Jeanette Grant (Jackie), Debra Grant (James), all of Apopka, Florida and Maggie Drisdom (Brian) of Orlando, Florida; a beloved granddaughter whom she raised, Tashanian Hamilton of Apopka, Florida; one sister-in-law, Dorothy Jordan of Apopka, Florida; 32 grandchildren, 70 great grandchildren, 10 great-great grandchildren; special friends: Viola Tillman and Patricia Wade; a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and sorrowing friends.
