Anjanette Jacobs, affectionately known as “Pokie T.” was born November 30, 1950 to parents, Joe Green and Lousine Girtman in Apopka, Florida. She attended Phyllis Wheatley in Apopka, Florida. Anjanette was a homemaker and she enjoyed cooking and making a home for her family. She was a stay-at-home mom to her children and assisted in raising her great grandchildren. Anjanette loved the Lord. She was a member of Open Door Sanctuary of Praise Church under the leadership of Pastor Minnie Johnson where she loved to attend and give her service to God. Anjanette was preceded in death by her husband, Milton Nelson; Father, Joe Green; Mother, Lousine Girtman; Father-oflove, Alex Jacobs; Mother-of-love, Estella Jacobs; Brothers: Lonnie Girtman, John Girtman and Fred Girtman; and Cousin, Bishop Michele White. Left to cherish her memory are her Sons: Antony Jacobs of Yonkers, New York, ShaMy Jacobs (Sheryl) of Abingdon, Maryland, Joseph Carter of Yonkers, New York, and Seneca Jacobs of White Plains, New York; Daughters: Kimberly Page (Albert) of Apopka, Florida, Lashanda Jacobs of Charlotte, North Carolina and Ventresca Carter of Pelham, New York; Children-inlove: Neice Nelson, Michelle Nelson and Nicolette Nelson, all of Orlando, Florida; Brothers: Lanodd Girtman of Bronx, New York, Ronnie Girtman of Orlando, Florida, George Girtman of Orlando, Florida, Fred Cunningham of Zellwood, Florida and Robert “Toppie” Nevins of Apopka, Florida; Sisters: Delores Jenkins of North Carolina and Barbara Frazier of Orlando, Florida; Cousin, Pastor Minnie Johnson of Mt. Dora, Florida; Firstborns of 36 Grandchildren: Kemique Jacobs, Jonique Jacobs, Naquan Jacobs and Tianna McCallop; 7 Great Grandchildren; and a host of Nieces, Nephews, Cousins; other loving relatives and Friends.
