    Elder Alison Moore Smith

    August 25, 1962 - June 6, 2022

Alison Moore-Smith was born August 25, 1962 in Apopka, Florida to parents, James H. Moore and Doletha Davis. She attended Apopka High School and was a graduate of the class of 1980. She obtained both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees at Florida Metropolitan University. Alison was a small business owner and photographer. She also authored many books through the years talking about her life. She has written books for many other people as well. Alison went out of her way to assist many churches in Florida, throughout the country and many parts of the world to live stream by working for an awesome company, Holy Connection TV. Brother Carlos Roberson provided her with the opportunity to join with Holy Connection TV by becoming a part of their team. It was a privilege and an opportunity she took to heart and became a great asset to the company. Alison met and married her husband, Walter Smith whom she loved and supported deeply. The two built a life together in Mt. Dora, Florida, where they resided until her passing. Prior to her passing, Alison was an active and faithful member of The City Ministry under the Leadership of Bishop Tony Jones in Wildwood, Florida. Alison was also a faithful member of St. Luke Full Gospel Baptist Church in Zellwood, Florida under the leadership of Pastor Hezekiah Bradford, Jr. for 19 years. She was very active in church as she served in many functions. She was a teacher in the Singles Ministry, and was willing to serve in every area of the ministry that had a need. She preached at St. Luke and many other churches throughout the state of Florida and abroad. She was a great inspiration to us all and will be deeply missed by her loving husband and the many other people whose lives she has touched. Alison was preceded in death by her Father, James H. Moore and Mother, Doletha D. Moore. Left to cherish her precious memory is her loving and devoted Husband of 8 years, Walter Smith of Mt. Dora, Florida; Sisters: Sharon Moore of Pelham, Georgia, Jarcelyn White of Apopka, Florida, and Mary Leslie of Orlando, Florida; Brother, Dearius Moore of Apopka, Florida; In-laws: Annie Noble (Eric), Lillie Thornton (Gary), Ulysses Smith (Dana), and Duke Smith (Stephanie); Godchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other loving relatives and dear friends.
