Willie Dean Caison

Willie Dean Caison, aka: “Bo”, was born on March 21, 1931, to the late J. C. Caison of Dawson, Georgia, and the late Louise Marshall Banks. He attended the public schools in Dawson, Georgia, and graduated from George Washington Carver HS in 1950. He honorably served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War, completing four (4) years of military service. His Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) was Special Services. He furthered his military education through training at the U.S. Military Academy, West Point, and Officer Candidate School (OCS). He later relocated to Newark, New Jersey, where he proudly served as a police officer for several years. He eventually relocated to the “Sunshine State” and settled permanently in Orlando, Florida. He was employed by the Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company in Orlando, where he worked faithfully until retirement some 20 years later. He also joined the workforce at Hughes Supply Company in Orlando and remained there until retirement. Willie was a devoted Dallas Cowboys fan, and one of his favorite songs, whether they won or lost, was “Mamas, Don’t Let Your Babies Grow Up to Be Cowboys”. Yes, Willie lived a life defined by service, dedication, and integrity. His legacy, love of family, and joy for the simple pleasures of life will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. He was also preceded in death by his wife of 29 years, Marion Bonnie Caison; Parents: J. C. Caison & Louise Marshall Banks; Children: Anthony Solomon, of Orlando, FL; Jessie Hill of Manchester, New Hampshire; Cynthia Jones and Janette Wrenn, both of Newark, New Jersey; Brothers: Ulysees Hill; J. C. Hill; and Albert Hill, all of Orlando, FL; Uncles: Charlie Banks of Orlando, FL; and Sammy Austin of Chicago, Illinois; Aunts: Azzie Lee Dawson of Orlando, FL; Molly Bell of Albany Georgia and Susie Austin of Gainesville, FL; Grandchildren: Nathan Williams; Carlos Jackson, and Dwight Lamont Williams all of Orlando, FL; Son-in-Law: Stanley Harden of Orlando. It was on Saturday, December 27th, the almighty God summoned a special angel to silently transition “Bo” to rest and reward! He leaves to cherish his memories: Rev. Dr. Willie E. Caison, Sr. (Deandra); Miscindy Taylor (Robert); Lawanda Harden (Kelvin); Jacqueline Campbell (David); Kenneth Williams; Monica Brown; and James Morris, all of Orlando, FL; Hazel Hill of Birmingham, AL; Willie Hill (Peggy) of Irvington, New Jersey; Teresa Jones (Dalton) of North, South Carolina; Ruth Hill (Jessie) of Manchester, New Hampshire; A host of Grandchildren; Great and Great-Great Grandchildren, nieces, nephews, in-laws, and many sorrowing cousins & friends.
