Vera Lenon Brown

Vera Leanna Brown was born on April 23, 1955 to the union of Susie Mae Brown-Lenon and Jim Henry Lenon of Gibson County, Humboldt, Tennessee. Vera was the seventh child of eight children born to this union. Vera was raised in Humboldt, Tennessee and attended the public school system. At the age of 18 Vera left Tennessee and relocated to Eustis, Florida. She gave birth to three beautiful children. Vera relocated to Cordele, Georgia where she meet and married her friend Jerome Brown. They shared a life together until Jerome passed December 21, 2013. Vera received Christ as her personal Savior and united with Ministry with A Vision in Cordele, Georgia. She was a faithful member who enjoyed attending Bible Study and other opportunities to fellowship. When she relocated to Mount Dora, Florida in May 2014 she attended services at Sound Doctrine Ministries. Vera’s parents, along with her brothers James Thomas Lenon and Kenneth Brasher precede her in death. Vera leaves to mourn her passing and cherish precious memories three children: Mr. Henry Lenon of Champaign, Illinois; Mrs. Trena Grimmage (Quincy) of Orlando, Florida; Mrs. Shalonda Smith (Sammie) of Mt. Dora, Florida; Ms. Calisha Linder; Mr. Terry Lango (Waunjeka); Ms. Tiyonda Brown; Mrs. Angela Walker (Tyrone), Mr. David Linder; Mr. Jermaine Worthy, all of Cordele, Georgia; twenty-one grandchildren: two sisters: Ms. Daisy Lenon and Mrs. Betty Clay both of Champaign, Illinois; seven brothers: Mr. Jim Henry Lenon of Humboldt, Tennessee; Mr. Sylvester Lenon of Urbana, Illinois; Mr. Jerry Lenon of Louisville, Kentucky; Mr. Benjamin Lenon of Leesburg, Florida; Mr. Randall Brasher of Linbeast, Minnesota; Mr. Rondall Brasher (Kenyetta) of Houston, Texas; Mr. Keith Brasher of Jackson, Tennessee; two sisters-in-law: Ms. Thelma Brown and Ms. Bettye Wilson both of Cordele, Georgia; two brothers-in-law: Mr. Freddie Brown of Live Oak, Florida and Mr. Dayell Brown of Cordele, Georgia; those whom she loved as sisters and brothers: Christine Williams (Julius) of West Palm Beach, Florida, Gloria Jean Wofford of Eustis, Florida, Penny Fieldings of Ocala, Florida, Henry Wofford, Jr. of Wildwood, Florida, Rick Williams (Rosie) of Tavares, Florida; a host of adoring cousins, other relatives and friends.
