Tracie J. Anderson

Tracie Jeanette Anderson was born to parents Janet Elaine Anderson and Joe Abraham Rowe. She graduated from Tyner Academy in Chattanooga, Tennessee. She was a faithful member of Friendship Missionary Baptist Church in Eustis, Florida. She loved to sing and she took great pride in cleaning the church. She also enjoyed attending Bible study. Her favorite activity was Bible trivia. During the game she took notes to make sure she won. Even when she felt bad after her treatments, she would still press her way into the house of the Lord. She loved her church family and would often brag about finally having a little sister, which was First Lady Douglas, who she loved and admired so much. She began working at Applebee’s in Eustis, Florida in 2007 and remained until covid hit. She was the host that everyone loved to see. She would greet everyone with a big smile. She always wanted everyone she welcomed to feel special. She was also known for her colorful hair, crazy earrings and festive socks. She had the ability to brighten everyone's day. She treated everyone like her own, some even called her momma Tracie. After Applebee’s, she would go on to work for Target where she remained until chemo no longer permitted her to work. She would still be seen out and about in her crazy earrings and festive socks with the big smile that we all know and loved. Tracie was a very loving person. She was loved by her children, grandchildren, family and friends. If she could help you, she would. If you needed advice, she would also give it even if the truth hurt, she would give it to you with love and honesty. When times got rough and the road rocky, she just smiled through it and thanked the Lord. She is preceded in death by: her mother, Janet E. Anderson; father, Joe A Rowe; grandmother, Geneva A. Young. Tracie J. Anderson is survived by: her children, Julian Anderson of Eustis Florida, Janequta Webber (Brittany) of Summerfield, Florida, Julaina Webber of Tampa, Florida, and Justin Anderson of Orlando, Florida. siblings, Derrick Anderson (Rosalyn) of Leesburg, Florida, Michael Thomas of Eustis, Florida, and Tony Anderson (Margarita) of Jackson, Mississippi; grandchildren, Da’miriah and Daquan Sigher of Eustis, Florida; very special friends, Demetrice Barriner and April Epley; aunt, nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
