Mr. Thaddeus Peterson

Thaddeus Peterson entered this World July 24, 1998 at Florida Florida Hospital in Orlando, Florida to Ms. Sharon D. Peterson A happy and playful child was he. He loved to be in the midst of the happenings. He started his educational journey at Phyllis Wheatley Elementary School, Apopka Middle School, Apopka High School and was currently attending Sheeler High School in Apopka. He was not shy by any stretch of the imagination. He could mingle with the best. He aspired to be a "Rapper". Rap music was his passion. In fact Sister Frances Thomas nicknamed him "TRap". He was a very devoted and faithful member of Pleasant View Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Michael D. Warren. He actively participated in the Youth Ministry. He leaves many fond memories of his involvement but the one etched in our minds just happened in February during the African American History program in Leesburg where he bellowed out an old time favorite by Sam Cooke "A change is Gonna Come" accompanied by Trevor Owens, Jr., on the saxophone. He didn't just limit his involvement to the youth department, he participated in the Men's Ministry. You can hear him share the lead solo part in "I Feel Like Having Church" with Brother Harold Williams on Sunday morning. When commented on his ability to sing his response was...oh yes, I can blow. Every year the men of the church prepared breakfast for the women on the Saturday before Mother's Day. Thad never missed a chance to be in the midst, preparing and serving. He will be missed. Thad became ill and was rushed to Florida Hospital Apopka on October 24th and was transferred and admitted into Florida Hospital in Celebration. On November 1, 2017 he was transferred to Florida Hospital South, Orlando and on Saturday, November 4th at approximately 10:00 p.m. God summoned His special angel to silently transition Thad to the celestial realm where peace dwells for eternity. Thad was preceded in death by a loving uncle and (father-figure) Deacon Malachi "Tom" Woods whom he adored dearly. Also his Grandmother, Dorothy J. Peterson; Grandfather, Clinton Peterson, Sr., Great Grandparents: Turner "Buck" Everett and Ethel Everett.
