Prophetess Telephia Jackson Lee

On January 16, 2015, the lord strolled through His garden and picked one of our most beautiful flowers Telephia Jackson Lee. She was born on December 8, 1960 in Clermont, Florida to Gladys Carthon and the late Alfred Jackson. Leaky as she was passionately known went to the Buffalo Public Schools and graduated from Kensington High School. She was a vibrant, adventurous and had a love for people. A master of creativity, whatever she touched she beautified. Her love and care for people lead her in the nursing field where she was employed as an emergency room nurse assistant for many years at Sister’s of Charity Hospital in Buffalo, New York. Early on she gave her life to the lord and knew that God had a purpose for her life. She began her ministry under the leadership of Pastor Odell and the late Eula Foster where she was ordained to preach the gospel. She was an anointed woman of God who encouraged and empowered others to live for Christ. She later joined Gospel Temple C.O.G.B.F., under Pastor Willie Flourence. In 1997 she join New Hope C.O.G.B.F. under the leadership of Pastor Reginald Daymon and serve in the ministry for many years, preaching and teaching the word of God. The anointing on her life carried her throughout the country, teaching and preaching the uncompromising word of God. She was a bold soldier in the army of the lord and allowed God to use her for His glory. Her ambitious spirit from God gave birth to many gifts. She was a Prophetess, Pastor, author, seamstress, mentor, singer, and recently became a chaplain. Her passion for Christ drew people of all walks of life to her where she mentored them in love and many knew her as “Mom”. Her smile and spirit was so bright that many wanted to be around to enjoy her presence. She often loved to spend time with her family, friends and grandchildren whom she loved and adored. Even though she became ill, she never complained about her sickness. She continued to preach and pray for those far and near. Even unto death she never gave up but kept the faith and finished her race. Her spirit lives on in the heart of all those she impacted. Telephia leaves to cherish her memory; her loving mother Gladys Carthon of Clermont Florida. Two sons, Evanuel Cook (Shavonne) of Orlando, Florida, Antonio Carroll (Trika) of St Petersburg, Florida. One daughter, Tiana Walker (Phillip) of St. Petersburg, Florida. One brother Christopher Jackson of Buffalo, New York, Four sisters, Barbara Ann Davis, Antoinette Jackson, Rhonda Woods all of Buffalo, New York. Natalie Moody of Clermont, Florida. Four granddaughters, Kindle of St. Petersburg, Florida, Toniya of Buffalo, New York, Zariah of Orlando, Florida and Zyon of St. Petersburg, Florida. Four grandsons, Evanuel, Jontae and Antonio all of Buffalo, New York. Micah and Antonio of St. Petersburg, Florida. Special sons and daughters of the gospel and a host of godchildren, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, church family and friends.
