Sherry Lenora Hodge

Minister Sherry Lenora Hodge made her grand entrance into this world on June 30,1971 in Long Beach, New York to late Elder Walter Lee Hodge and Late Mother Bertha Hodge. She was the youngest girl of the family of 9 children. Sherry attended City of Long Beach, Public School System and in 1986 she from Oneonta Job Corp in Oneonta, NY. She later became a licensed cosmetologist receiving her certification from Long Island Beauty School. Her parents raised her in a home filled with love and taught her to live a life that pleased the Lord She was a devoted mother to her daughter Chakiyra Lewis; who she loved and adored. Sherry was not only an anointed Psalmist, but she was a warrior in the Spirit and lived a life of service the Lord and his people. She had a heart for Evangelism and would use her various gifts that God gave her to Minister, She organized revivals, conferences. outreaches, Musicals, Prayer Calls just to name a few. Sherry also graced the Radio Airways as a Radio Personality on “Gospel All Night Through the on WGBB 1240 AM. Sherry's radio name was “The Anointed One” and— Anointing was evident in her life. She was an amazing Psalmist and sang with many groups and choirs Peace Evangel Revival Community Choir, Hodge Gospel Choir, FAW Celebration Choir, David Bratton and Spirit of and Timothy Wright Community Choir. Her melodious voice even afforded her the opportunity to minister in song in the Bahamas. Sherry loved God and dedicated her life to give God Glory in all that she did. Her desire was to be used by God and she wanted to see His people saved, especially the youth. Minister Hodge founded The Radical for Christ Crusade that was a platform used to minister to young people, Her ministry has impacted countless lives. Many were Saved, Delivered, Set Free, and Launched into the Ministry. Minister Sherry Hodge began her Christian journey as a member of The Soul Stirring Church of God in Christ of Long Beach Under the Leadership of Pastor AI Holly until her teen years. She then served at Evangel Revival Community Church under the Leadership or Pastor Delores Miller It was in this ministry that Radical for Christ Crusade was Birthed. Sherry later attended New Generation Church where the Late JB Smith was the Pastor. At the Call of the Lord Sherry relocated from Long Beach, NY to Leesburg, FL„ where her ministry expanded and was a member of Bible Teachers International Worship Center and served diligently under the Leadership of Apostle Mary Banks. She leaves to rejoice in in his glorious homegoing and to cherish her memories her beautiful daughter Chakiyra Lewis (Siblings) Walter, Jr., Norma, Sandra, Timmy, Gloria, Alonzo, Phillip, James, and a host of nieces and nephews, family and friends.
