Shandise Rashey "CUPCAKE" Hall

Shandise Rashey Hall, lovingly known as "Cupcake", was born on October 1, 1992, to Jeanie Hall and Milton Hall. She spent her early childhood in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, before relocating to Orlando in 2003, where she would continue to grow into the remarkable woman so many came to love. Nine years ago, she made Houston, Texas her home-a place that truly captured her heart. Shandise was a proud graduate of Boone High School in Orlando and later went on to attend Tuskegee University, where she earned her bachelors degree in Engineering/Marketing as a member of the Class of 2015. While at Tuskegee, she became a devoted member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated, where she was number seven on her line, proudly known as "Fool's Gold." Professionally, Shandise was a dedicated and accomplished team lead and account manager at Star Pipe Products in Houston, Texas, where she worked for nine years. Her work ethic, leadership, and presence left a lasting impression on colleagues and clients alike. Shandise lived life with intention, passion, and grace. She was an avid reader who found peace and clarity at the beach-her sacred place. Whether sitting by the water with a good book, feeling the sand beneath her feet, or simply listening to the waves, the beach was where she found her zen and restored her spirit. She loved to travel, explore new places, and indulge in her passion as a true foodie-always seeking out new experiences, flavors, and moments to enjoy. She embraced an active lifestyle, finding joy in bike riding, working out, and staying fit. She was vibrant, full of life, and undeniably the life of the party. Shandise could dance the night away, and she did so with a joy that was contagious. She carried herself with elegance and poise-always classy, always intentional, and always present. When she gave you her attention, you felt it deeply. She made people feel seen, heard, and valued. A gifted writer, Shandise also expressed herself through poetry, capturing her thoughts and emotions with depth and beauty. She was adventurous, loving, and fiercely loyal-if she was there for you, she was truly there. She is survived by her loving parents, Jeanie Hall and Milton Hall; her sisters, Tamaquinia Jennings (Thadeus), Stephanie Williams (Will), Nakisha Lockhart; and her three beloved nieces, JaNaya Jennings, Weslyn Williams, and Summer Williams, who she adored deeply. She also leaves behind a host of cherished family members, devoted line sisters, coworkers, and close friends who will continue to honor her legacy. Shandise often jokingly said, "This is stupid," whenever faced with something she didn't want to do. And today, as we gather to say goodbye, we echo her words with heavy hearts-because this is something we wish we never had to do. Yet, in all things, we celebrate her life, her love, and the beautiful impact she made on us all. HER WORDS, HER HEART A note to self: Always remember to be positive and bring joy. Never judge or take things at complete face value. Give second chances and love without conditions. Be present and pour into others the same way you would like to be poured into. Bring peace and not problems, be a blessing and not a burden. We don't live in this world to be selfish but to be tested due to the relationships that we impact.
