Sandra Denise Rogers Dunham

Sandra Denise Rogers Dunham was born on February 5, 1967, in Miami, Florida._Her parents, Curley and Helen Rogers, moved to Eustis, Florida, in 1972. Sandra attended Eustis Heights Elementary anc graduated from Eustis High School with the class of 1985. During her time in school, she was a member of the softball team, track team, and captain of the cheerleading squad. Sandra gave birth to her first son, Brandon Gregory Williams Sr., in 1988, beginning her journey. as a devoted mother, which can be witnessed today in her son's love and perseverance in lite. During that time, she was also a caregiver to her mother, Helen Rogers. Sandra had an amazing, unbreakable bond with her mother that fostered the devotion, joy, and strength that you saw in her as a wite, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, and triend. Four years later, Sandra was introduced to her husband, Dwight Dunham. They were married by Reverend Billy, Hawkins on November 21, 1992, while stationed in Savannah, Georgia. Dwight retired from the US Army in 1993, which led to Dwight and Sandra's return to their hometown of Eustis, Florida. Over the years, Sandra led a successful career holding several positions in the banking industry. In 1995, Sandra and Dwight welcomed their second son, Dustin Dontel Dunham, whom Sandra loved and cherished dearly. During their 34 years of marriage, Sandra and Dwight were devoted parents to Dwight Jr., Brandon, and Dustin. Iheir tamily started their journey in the ministry at Gethsemane Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend William "Billy" Hawkins. Sandra joined Gethsemane's usher board and was also a respected leader of the youth department. She also served the youth in her community as an AAU Basketball Director for several years, which led them to start their own basketball team in an effort to establish a positive impact on the young men in the community. Sandra had a big Christian heart and allowed God to use her to inspire, guide, and encourage many of the youth members to follow God. Sandra was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother to 9 grandchildren. Sandra took great pleasure in being a mother; however, when God gitted her with grand-children, she took so much pride in being in tune with each and every one of them, leaving lasting impressions of her unconditional love, character courage, and strength to be carried on through generations. Even though, through the last 12 years of her beautiful life, she faced many health challenges, she was one of God's strongest and fearless warriors; always smiling, giving God the praise, and reminding everyone that God always has the final say. There are numerous people who can testify to her good faith, srace, and love for the Lord, her church, family, friends, and the community. Sandra was preceded in death by her father, Curley "Rock" Rogers; her sister, Darrine Rogers; and son, Dwight Dunham Jr. Sister Sandra leaves many loved ones to cherish her memories: a loving, husband, Dwight D. Dunham; Her Mother, Helen Rogers; Her loving sons, Brandon Williams, Sr. (Princess), Dustin Dunham (Ahteona); daughter-in-law, Nikki Dunham. sister, Stephanie Shorts; brother, Gregory Rogers (Pamela). Her nine grandchildren: Brandon WilliamsJr., Kindoll Williams, Chandler Williams, Dillon Williams, Markell Williams, Zoey Lewis, Azaria and Jiva, n Dunham. In addition to, numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, godchildren, and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
