Ryan Shantrez Tarver

Ryan Shantrez Tarver was born December 6, 1988 in Orlando, Florida to parents DeTara Rabon and Sheldon Tarver. Ryan began public school in Zellwood, Florida. He graduated from Apopka High School Class of 2007. His years in school involved extra-curricular activities such as football, basketball and track and field. After high school, he spent time at Mars Hill College in North Carolina, but returned to Florida where he pursued a career as a mental health technician. Ryan was employed at Learning Leaps Behavioral Services of Clermont. Ryan was a hard worker and was passionate about his job and patients. Ryan never strayed away from helping others by any means possible. Ryan was protective, charismatic, humorous and family oriented. He enjoyed being the life of the party and bringing laughter to everyone. He loved his family and friends and was an amazing father and brother. His favorite hobbies were watching sports, particularly college football, and his favorite teams were the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Orlando Magic and Miami Hurricanes. Ryan was preceded in death by his brothers: Jarvis Smith and Saderris Tarver; sister: Brittany Rucker; grandfathers: James Wesley and Artis Tarver; and grandmother: Mozell Wesley. Left to cherish his memory are his spouse: Danis Bailey of Clermont, Florida; son: Ryan Tarver of Clermont, Florida; father: Sheldon Tarver (Yvette) of Zellwood, Florida; mother: DeTara Rabon (Darryl) of Apopka, Florida; siblings: MarQuis Tarver of Zellwood, Florida, Christopher Tarver of Zellwood, Florida, Porsha Jackson of Orlando, Florida, Shelton Rucker of Orlando, Florida, Sheldrick Tarver of Zellwood, Florida; grandmother: Delores Tarver of Zellwood, Florida; uncles: James Wesley (Ruby) of Orlando, Florida, Johnnie Wesley of Orlando, Florida, Don Wesley (Tee) of Leesburg, Florida and Ronald Tarver (Sharie) of Eustis, Florida; aunts: Janie Hopkins of Orlando, Florida, Mozena Bascom (Ben) of Zellwood, Florida, Rose Johnson (Arthur) of Apopka, Florida, Rosa Burton (Clinton) of Zellwood, Florida, Fannie Wesley of Zellwood, Florida and Edwina Cuyler of Eustis, Florida; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other loving relatives and friends.
