He was a pillar of strength, a provider, and an excellent example of what a man should be. A TIME TO BE BORN Ronald “Ron” Baldwin was born on Saturday, March 29, 1947, in Sanford, Florida to Mr. Isiah Baldwin and Ms. Carrie Elliott. A TIME FOR LEARNING Ron graduated from Crooms High School, Class of 1964. He also attended Seminole Junior College, in Sanford, Florida. He completed Weaver Airline Personnel School's home study extension course and was attending resident school in Kansas City, MO, when selected for the position as Station Agent at National Airlines. He later obtained a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from LaSalle University. A TIME TO LOVE AND SERVE In his early early years, Ron attended St. John Missionary Baptist Church, Altamonte Springs, Florida. He married Carolyn Hall on July 7, 1979, Williams Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, Altamonte Springs, Florida. A TIME TO LABOR On March 30, 1965, Ron joined the US Army and served in Vietnam. He was awarded a Purple Heart, Army Commendation Medal, Good Conduct Medal, Meritorious Unit Emblem, National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, RVN Campaign Medal, Vietnam Gallantry Cross w/Palm, Marksman M-14, Expert M-16, Expert Badge w/Rifle Bar, a Silver Service Star, and three Overseas Bars and discharged Oct. 8, 1968. After 20+ years working for National, Eastern, Trump Shuttle, US Airlines, and retired from Northwest Airlines. Ronald and Carolyn moved back home and settled in Leesburg, Florida. A TIME TO ENJOY Ron loved to listen to soft jazz and old-school music. He liked to keep up with the stock market and the last news. He also loved to shop online because he didn’t care for going into the store unless it was grocery shopping. He also really loved to take selfies, lol:-). He was also die-hard fan of the Raiders. A TIME TO MOURN Preceding him in death was his father Mr. Isiah Baldwin, sisters Joy Ann (Frank Hodges), Joann (Harold Harris), and brother Reginald Baldwin (Conchita). A TIME TO LEAVE He lived life the way he wanted to on this side, so God called him home on Friday, January 3, 2025 to be with Him in his kingdom. Left to cherish his precious memories are his Wife, Carolyn Baldwin, his mother, Carrie Edwards Elliott, his daughter, Tericka Adair (Robert), his son, D’Ron Baldwin; Granddaughters: Jayda Baldwin, Sydney and Kendyl Adair, and Carmen Baldwin. Brothers, Francis “Lee” Baldwin (Yvonne), Jerome Baldwin (Lisa), and Elder Ernie Baldwin (Michelle); Brother-in-law, Arthur Lark. Sisters, Sandra (Larry Williams), and Sherrie (Paul Chew); Sisters-in-Law, Valerie Justice (Kenneth Cummings), Connie (Warner Reid), and a host of Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, and loving friends. Special friends Mr. Harold Harris, Mr. George Glover, Mr. David Weeks, Ms. Sadie Mae Shivers.
