Rodney L. Rouse

SUNRISE Rodney Lewis Rouse was born on June 15, 1971, to Robert Rouse (Deceased) and Annie Mae Huff in Augusta, Georgia. EDUCATION Rodney was educated in the Lake County Schools and was a 1991 graduate of Groveland High School. CAREER Rodney was employed with Circuit City Distribution Center for many years until it’s closing. He then went to work for Dunkin Donuts Distribution Center for 15 plus years before leaving and obtaining his CDL which allowed him to pursue his passion of driving the big Rigs. At the time of his passing, he was a truck driver for Anthony Cecil Hardy Legacy Trucking (A company named after the man that he called Dad all his life). FAMILY Rodney leaves to cherish his memories…His Mother, Annie Huff (Ralph) of Mascotte, Florida; Lifetime Partner, Ahmadra Stafford of Groveland, Florida; He was a true “Girl Dad” of 5 Daughters: Leilani Rouse, Raniyah Rouse, Aysia Rouse, Amar’e Rouse and Ryleigh Rouse, all of Groveland, Florida; 5 brothers: Robert Rouse Jr. of Leesburg, Florida, Ronald Rouse of Leesburg, Florida, George Rouse of Mascotte, Florida, Anthony Hardy Jr. of Lake Wales, Florida and Frederick Hardy of Dundee, Florida; 2 Sisters: Carol (Stanley) Hardy Robinson of Mystic, Connecticut and Lisa Johnson of Houston, Texas; 2 Aunts: Minnie Osborne of Waynesboro, Georgia and Lizzie Osborn of Brentwood, New York; 2 Uncles: Otis Osborne of Atlanta, Georgia and Bennie Osborne of Waynesboro, Georgia, and a host of Nieces, Nephews and loving friends. HIS A-1’s Jerry Russell, Kareem Dykes and Jerod Smith (Deceased), Rufus Dykes Sr. FAVORITE Rodney loved spending time with family and friends (especially Madra and his girls). He was an avid football fan and loved those FSU Seminoles from his heart (Go Noles). SUNSET There comes a time when we must say farewell, but faith, hope, love, and trust can never die. This new life which God has promised us began for Rodney on October 5, 2021, taking a lifetime of love and memories to Heaven with him. Our hearts are broken, and we will forever miss him, but we take comfort in knowing that God is yet fulfilling his promise from John 14:2 ~ In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. 3. And if I go prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.
