Robert Lee Williams

Mr. Robert “Bobby” Lee Williams was born on November 24, 1937 to the late Mr. Ted Williams originally of St. Petersburg, FL and Mrs. Maggie Bringier of Kissimmee, FL. He is a true and rare native as he was born in Kissimmee and lived there his entire life. Bobby graduated from Kissimmee High School in 1956 and decided to enlist in the United States Army due to his desire to serve and protect our great nation. He served bravely from May 1956 to July 1963 in the Medical Ward, Uniform Alterations, and even earned a top-level secret clearance due to his exceptional and studious work ethic and flawless background. After serving over seven years in the military, he received an Honorable Discharge. In 1973, he met and later married the love of his life, Ms. Mary Yvonne Williams, and they were joined in holy matrimony for over 17 years. Mr. Williams worked tirelessly as a warehouseman for friends during the holidays and get-togethers while playing cards and talking about football. As you may have already guessed, Mr. Williams was a huge fan of the Miami Dolphins! He enjoyed watching football games on television as well as fishing at Lake Zion Church and was grateful for his long-time friend and prayer partner, Ted Baker. He truly adored his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and god-children and his absence will leave a void in their lives that can never be filled. Mr. Robert Lee Williams was proceeded in death by his loving and faithful wife- Mary Yvonne Williams; brother- Willie Ray Williams; sisters- Mary Alice Allen, Catherine Anderson, Sally Black, and Ella Mae Stephens. He leaves behind to cherish his legacy and countless memories his 14 children: sons- Robert Andre Williams of Long Beach, CA; Antonio “Pep” Latimore of Washington, DC; Frank Lott (Marie) of Selma, TX; Robert “Tony” Williams of Kissimmee, FL; Ricardo Williams (Naomi) of Kissimmee, FL; T. Ray Williams of Kissimmee, FL; Tracy Williams of Kissimmee, FL; daughters- Kim Williams Rowry (Gary) of Chicago, Illinois; Rashanda Williams-Hardin (James) of Kissimmee, FL; Traneka Robinson (Willie) of Kissimmee, FL; Bobbie Williams (Marvin) of Kissimmee, FL; Christina Williams (Walter Webb) of Leesburg, FL; Star Williams of Kissimmee, FL; and Janeva Coy of Eustis, FL; god-daughters- Denise Jackson, Donetta Wilcox, and Natalie Graham all of Kissimmee, FL; 50 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren; surviving siblings- Ellen Hooker, Gail Williams, Duane Roberts, Renee Roberts, Michelle Roberts, Grace Roberts, and Dennis Roberts all of Kissimmee, FL; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
