Robert "Bob Marley" Dowe, Jr.

Robert Dowe, Jr. was born to parents Robert Sr. and Rutha Mae Dowe on December 11, 1961, in Manning, South Carolina. At the age of four years old, his family moved to Winter Garden, Florida. He attended William S. Maxey Elementary, Lakeview Middle School, West Orange High School, and graduated from Evans High School in Orlando, Florida. After graduation, Robert Jr. worked at Avalanche for twelve years. He also worked at Stage Door 11 for several years. Robert met and married Pamela Williams and they resided in Orlando, Florida. He was the father of two daughters, Kashwania and Romeisha, and one stepson, Donte. He was a loving son, brother, father, and husband. “Bob Marley” was well known throughout the Orlando area. Everyone he met had a story to tell behind their “Meet and Greet”. You could call him the life of the party. He loved his family dearly, always lending a helping hand when needed. His grandchildren were his heart. They affectionately called him “Papa”. On Monday, October 18, 2021, in the twinkling of an eye, God saw fit to call Robert Jr., from his earthly tabernacle to a place eternal in the heavens, not made by man. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Robert is preceded in death by his Father, Robert Dowe, Sr., Brother, Willie James Brunson; Uncles: Rufus Brunson, Adelle Brunson, Earnest Brunson, and Esaw Brunson; and Aunt, Christine Brunson Dowe.
