Phinecia Leatris Bright

Phinecia Leatris Bright, born on May 2, 1985, to Rosa Bright and the late John Bright in Orlando, Florida, peacefully transitioned to heaven on October 13, 2024. From an early age. Phinecia had a strong relationship with God, she expressed her faith through singing and prayer, both of which were deep passions throughout her life. A 2003 graduate of Maynard Evans High School, Phinecia excelled academically, graduating 5th in her class. She was an active member of the Girl Scouts and sang in both the Children's Choir and Voices of Praise at Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church in Eatonville, Florida. Throughtout her education, she was a member of the National Honor Society. She earned a scholarship to attend the University of Florida, where she graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Science Education. Her academic brilliance earned her recognition, including an award from President Bill Clinton for outstanding writing on the SAT. Phinecia continued her educational journey, obtaining a Master of Business Administration from the University of Central Florida. Known affectionately by her family as "TeeTee," "Genius" and "Mommy's Big Baby Girl," she was deeply gifted in writing, speaking, and praying. Her love for her family and her community was boundless, always being there when someone needed her. A lifelong member of Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church, Phinecia was devoted to her faith and worked tirelessly as an Executive Marketing Manager for a PEO company, until her health began to fail. Her legacy as a devoted daughter, sister, friends, and community member will live on in the hearts of many. She was preceded in death by: her father, John Bright; brother, Jamall Bright, Sr.; grandparents, Albert and Marilyn McNeal, Wadie and Leatris Bright, and Hayward and Marva Price. She leaves behind to cherish her memory; Her loving Mother, Rosa Bright, her Siblings, Marilyn Bright, and Frederick Vernon, Jr. and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousin, and her extended family, beloved friends and the countless lives she touched with her grace, wisdom, and generosity. Phinecia will forever be remembered for her faith, kindness, and dedication to her family, friends, and community.+
