Perry Allen Brown, Sr.

It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved, Perry Allen Brown, Sr. He heard the voice of the Master and answered the call on June 21, 2026. Perry Allen Brown, Sr. was born on October 12, 1964 in Winter Garden, Florida, to parents Aurelius Brown and Annie Bell Ludd Brown. He was raised in the loving care of his parents who instilled a love and respect of God in his life. He was in the Royal Rangers Boys Club, founded by his father. They sang as a choir at different churches and learned the skills of camping and fishing. He attended Orange County Public Schools, including West Orange and Oakridge High School, where he excelled academically and was a star football player. He graduated in the class of 1982. Immediately after high school, Perry enlisted in the United States Army, with Basic Training at Fort Bragg. North Carolina. He served both state-wide and overseas in Germany and Desert Storm, where he was an airborne paratrooper (elite solider deployed directly into combat zone via parachutes.) He was also stationed at Fort Deven in Massachusetts, He received several awards and was honorably discharged with the rank of Sergeant after many years of service. Perry returned to his hometown of Winter Garden and joined the ranks of civilian life. He had a very successful lawn care service, specializing in "tree trimming" as well. His business was a source of employment for several young men in Orange County. Perry lived life to the fullest. He loved his family and enjoyed spending quality time with them. He was a friend to all and met everyone with a smile. He will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved him.. He was preceded in death by: his mother, Annie Bell Ludd Brown; brother, Ronnie Brown; sisters, Maria Brown Adams and Linda Nell Kemp; maternal grandparents, James and Anne Mae Ludd; and paternal grandparents, Joe and Rena Brown. Perry leaves cherished memories with his loving family: his children, Perry Brown, Jr. and Niena Brown; father, Aurelius Brown (Ruby); brothers, Marcus Brown (Karen) and Robert Peterson (Tamika); sisters, Queen Lewis, Aurelia Brown, Charlene Harris (Garland), and Chandra Connerton (Jon); aunts, Dorothy Matthews, Joyce Ann Brown, Ferndale Jenkins (Ernest), Janie Ludd, and Catherine Taylor (William); uncles, Marvin Brown and James Ludd, Jr.; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and many sorrowing friends.
