Ms. Pandora Carter Taylor

Pandora Taylor graduated from Winter Park High School. After receiving her high school diploma, she continued her education, and received her vocational certificate in secretarial skills. Later on in life, Pandora used the skills that were taught and instilled in her by her mother to become an entrepreneur. Pandora was a long-standing member of Ward Chapel A.M.E. Church where she served on the usher board for many years. Pandora loved riding motorcycles. Her passion grew into her starting a motorcycle club with her brothers called Easy Riders. She was inspired by her sister Gloria to become a member of Clowns on a Mission. Past Worthy Matron Pandora Taylor was a member of the original Golden Star #149 for several years prior its new chartering and numbering in 2009. Past Worthy Matron Taylor was the sitting Worthy Matron at the time of the re-chartering, and is a chartered member of the now Golden Star #49. PWM Pandora was a devoted and dedicated member to her beloved order. She was an energetic and vibrant leader. She rendered untiringly to the despondent, homeless, youth and seniors in the community. As a member of Golden Star, PWM Taylor served in many capacities. She served as Worthy Matron, Associate Matron, treasurer, conductress and associate conductress. She was a good and faithful servant. Daughter, Pandora Taylor became a member of Malta Court on September 29, 2007. As a member she was very supportive and faithful. During her years in Malta Court, she worked on numerous committees, always willing to help with a smile even when she wasn't feeling her best. Daughter Taylor went out on Community service events at Eccleston Elementary School, Ronald McDonald House, Orlando Shelter, Day Care Centers dressed as a clown on several occasions to entertain the kids with face painting. She attended Gala Days, Imperial Sessions, Leadership conferences. She has received numerous appreciation certificates and awards. Her greatest accomplishment for all her labor in Malta Court was when she received The Honorary Past Commandress Degree from the Imperial Court D.O.I., Daughter Alicia J. Chisolm, Imperial Commandress. She will truly be missed! Pandora is preceded in death by, Minnie L. Carter (mother), James R. Carter, Sr. (father); and brothers, Isaiah S. Bailey and Timothy M. Carter.
