Miriam Elaine Jackson

Miriam Elaine Hardnett Jackson was born on August 9, 1966, to her proud and loving parents Marvin and Doris Hardnett. She was a lifelong resident of Apopka, Florida, where she attended local schools and graduated from Apopka High School in the class of 1984. At a young age, Miriam, affectionately known as "Cookie", gave her life to Christ and enjoyed fellowship often with her Christian family. Among family and close girlfriends, Cookie was an avid shopper who loved Saturday morning outings with her mother, sisters (Andreameda and Karla), Aunt Polly, and cousins (Costa and Monica). It was her love of family, friends, and fashion that earned her the title of the "Baby Queen of Fashion"! Cookie's reign continued as she met her mate, Rudolphous Dwayne Jackson, in middle school, with their love continuing throughout high school. As she began her life as a young woman, she and Dwayne welcomed their bundle of joy, Rashid Dwayne Jackson. Their love took them into marriage, where she later joined her husband in the military as his wife. They moved away and resided in Ft. Stewart, Georgia. As a mother, Cookie's love was infinite for her son and family, and this same love always brought her back home. Cookie returned home in December 1989 for the holidays and brought with her love, happiness, and a joy of baking! During the holiday season, Cookie flourished and began the family's traditional holiday shopping with mother, son, and niece, Ciji. It was during this period that Cookie and family were in a life altering accident, leaving all their lives changed forever. B y God's grace and mercy, Cookie and her family survived this tragedy. God's favor and grace allowed us 37 additional years of life with Cookie as an earthly angel until her Heavenly Father called her home. Miriam "Cookie" is preceded i n death by her grandson, Rashaun Dwayne Jackson; her mother, Doris Gunn Hardnett; and brother-in-law, Ricky Pollock. Miriam departed this life on November 5 , 2025. She leaves to cherish beautiful memories with her loving son, Rashid Dwayne Jackson; father, Marvin Hardnett; sisters: Andreameda Pollock and Karla Charlton; nieces: Ciji Charlton, Divi Charlton, and Cri'stani Alexis Pollock; and great-nephew, Evan Michael White. In addition, she had many amazing caretakers: Sheila, Drucilla, Eve, Richelle, and Falene, who ensured her a great quality of life
