Mary Helen Greathouse

Mary Helen Greathouse was born June 3, 1948 in Macon County, Alabama to parents Benjamin Tolbert, Sr. and Lucille Mitchell Tolbert. She attended Macon County Public Schools. She later moved to Apopka, Florida where she was employed by Mulford and J.B. Nursery as a supervisor until her retirement. She was a very faithful and devoted member of New Hope Missionary Baptist Church for more than 40 years. She attended service faithfully until her health began to fail. Even in the decline of her health, she still managed to stay active. Mary Helen was a great cook and loved caring for people within the community. She had a very loving soul and will be dearly missed by her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her Father: Benjamin Tolbert, Sr.; Mother: Lucille Mitchell Tolbert; Brothers: Benjamin Tolbert, Jr. and Tommy Tolbert and sister: Jeanelle Hardnett.
