Mariah Desiree Critton

Blessings occur often and the world was truly blessed when God chose Melvin and Bridget Negron, to bring Mariah Desiree Negron into the world, on May 03, 2000. From the moment she was born, Mariah was destined to do great things and impact the world in many unexpected ways. In her early years, Mariah enjoyed doing the normal things that most kids like to do. She participated in dance, ballet, tap and tumbling. Mariah also played soccer and was a Girl Scout Daisy. Yet, she was so much more than dance, soccer and badges. During those early years she developed a love for animals as well. Among all the extracurricular activities she did early on in life, she loved to eat great food. She loved her dad’s street tacos and her stepmom’s egg rolls and rice. Can’t forget, she also loved those famous and fresh pepperoni rolls from West Virginia. In October of 2016, Mariah began working at Chick-Fil-A, where she met the love of her life, Job Critton. Mariah was also inducted into the Honor Society and graduated from Wekiva High obtaining her high school diploma in May of 2018. Following graduation, Mariah attended Valencia College, where she received her Medical Assistant certification. She worked as a Medical Assistant at Lakeview Health-care System, while attending Seminole State College. While there, she pursued and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing. Mariah knew she wanted a rewarding career where she could do what she loved, and that was taking care of others. As Mariah excelled in furthering her education and career, she also grew in her relationship with Job and her relationship with GOD. She devoted her life to Christ, and joined Beth TeHillah Ministries on April 14, 2019. She was baptized only a week later. The scripture says, “Whoso findeth a wife findeth a good thing” (Proverbs 18:22a KJV). Job and Mariah were joined in Holy Matrimony on December 12, 2019. The blessings of their marriage expanded, and they became first time homeowners in December of 2020. Shortly thereafter, Job and Mariah welcomed a son, Jonah Isaac Critton, on October 12, 2021. On May 10, 2022, the LORD said, “Well done, my good and faithful servant,” and Mariah transitioned to be with the Lord. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Richard A. Werner; brother, Brandon I. Werner; aunt, Maggie Negron. Left to cherish and honor the legacy of Mariah: the love of her life and man of God, Job I. Critton; her loving son, Jonah I. Critton; loving father, Melvin Negron; loving mother, Bridget Werner-Negron; father-in-law, Ronald Critton (Sabrena); special maternal-figure, Sherry Hanson; beloved siblings, Michael Werner (Ashley); Benjamin Negron; Andres Negron; paternal grandfather, Tony Negron, paternal grandmother, Olga Negron; maternal grandmother, Brenda Davis; several prized nieces and nephews, and a host of in-laws, aunts, uncles, cousins, and so many beloved friends.
