Louis Cornelius Pinellas, Jr.

Pine, Louis Cornelius Pinellas, Jr., was born on November 25, 1942 in Eustis, Florida to the late Louis Cornelius Pinellas, Sr., and Dorothy M. Anderson. Louis was the first born of eight children. He and his family later moved to Kissimmee, Florida. He attended Kissimmee High School where he was a drum major for the Mustang Marching Band. He often would boast about being one of the best looking top steppers with his overall style, who proudly kept the tempo with the use of a baton, wearing out a pair of shoes during every march. He was the star of every show, and amazed on-lookers with his grand performance. In his early life Louis became a member of Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church. Kissimmee, Fla., where he accepted Jesus Christ as his Savior. In his later years he joined St Luke Missionary Baptist church, Narcoossee, Florida. In 1979, he met and courted, Annie "Lou" Pinellas, until he asked for her hand in marriage. On June 26, 1981, they were married. With this union came a tribe of sons and daughters, and they quickly became a large loving, blended family. Louis accepted Annies kids as his own and she accepted his. A few years later, in October of 1984, that union would bring another child, the very last of the bunch, Lambert "Spud" Pinellas. He was employed at Desota Paint Company for over 10 years, where he mastered the art of painting, he took great pride in painting and manifesting a strong work ethic, meticulous preparation and paying close attention to detail to achieve a flawless finish. Making a career change he later took on the job of being Facilities Technician until retirement. He continued painting until his health started to decline. Louis was a die-hard LA Lakers & Minnesota Vikings Fan. It's just something about those purple & yellow colors! Louis was preceded in death by his parents Louis C. Pinellas Sr. and Dorothy Anderson Pinellas. Siblings: Glen E. Pinellas, Janice Knox and Xavier C. Pinellas. A special cousin, like sister, Betty E Chapell. Grandson (more like a son) Rashan Hassaun "Fats" Ortiz. He leaves to cherish precious memories to his loving and devoted Wife of forty-four years Annie Paul Pinellas ; Children, Earl Bell (Annette), Louis C. Pinellas III (Barbara), Lasaxon Pinellas (Deborah), Lavontyne Pinellas (Shawanda), David Hayes (Belinda), Ingrid Davidson, Emerson Davidson, Windelle (Puddin) Wilkerson (Derrick), Jarvis Smith, and Lambert Pinellas. Like A Son; Lafeitt Oneal, Travis Barrington, Michael Scott and Deshon Graham. Brothers, Dwight E, Pinellas Sr, Stanley Pinellas and Octavious Pinellas. Sisters; Paula Pinellas King and Windelle Pinellas; One living aunt, Evelyn "Scrap" Abbott, Special Sisters in-law; Jeanette Paul Rivers July), Mary Paul Berrian (John). And a host of grand children, great-grands and great great-grands, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, friends and the community. To sum it all up, Louis was loved by MANY! Most were like brothers, too many to be named specifically. In our hearts, he will forever be loved and missed
