Lachavious "Shay" Woods

LaChavious Duntral Woods, the first of two children, was born November 6, 1988 to Vanessa Richmond and James Woods. “Shay” was a life long resident of Sorrento and Mount Dora, Florida. She was educated in the Lake County Public School System. She fulfilled her life’s professional career as an Executive Secretary. She was a loving and devoted wife, daughter, sister, and aunt. She loved her family and enjoyed her life to the fullest. Shay was the family first bundle of love (Baby). Shay was all of our first baby girl. We were so excited when she was born. What love you have shown us all. Shay will long be remembered for her beautiful soul and dynamite smile. Her smile could light up the world. Everybody who met Shay knew her as a very sweet, loving and kind young lady. She was compassionate, caring, soft-spoken at times, or no words at all just a smile. She will always be remembered and cherished for how she loved us all. Her smile was so beautiful and it will always be in our hearts. Her smile made everyone realize that the world is a lovely and beautiful place . . . . Our first love Shay, Shay. Shay was preceded in eternal rest by her beloved aunts, Maria Richmond and Liana Dinkins, paternal grandparents James and Helen Woods. She entered the sunset of life on Monday October 23, 2023 at Advent Health Waterman Hospital in Tavares, Florida.
