Kedarius C. Chestnut

On Thursday, November 18, 1993, Kedarius Curvon Chestnut entered this world making his mother Timika Chestnut and father Kemo Dowe proud parents. At an early age Kedarius would face many challenges and face many medical procedures on his legs, which also afforded him an opportunity to create a special bond with his Great Grandmother, the late Zera Rodgers (preceding him in death by only one day) during his recovery. Kedarius never lost his loving and comical personality and brought light, love and laughter to any room that he entered. Kedarius had a special way of finding common ground with any group of people he met whether in school amongst his peers, church or out in the community. Kedarius was a lifelong resident of Winter Garden, Fl. and staple in the Tildenville/Winter Garden area. He completed his childhood education by graduating class of 2013 from West Orange High School. His passion of food led him to complete the Culinary Program at West Side Vocational School (Winter Garden, FL) making him Chef Kadoo. While spending time with family in Alabama, one of his favorite cousins Tim suffered a major accident and Kedarius had the pleasure to assist him with his recovery. When he returned to Florida, Kedarius continued in his passion for working with people, and begin to work as a caregiver for the special needs community where he worked until God called him home. He was preceded by: Loving Bonus Father, Donnell "Corey" Harris, Grand Parents, Issac and Joyce Simon Great Grandparents, Irma and Clarence Chestnut, Clifford and Zera Rodgers. Kedarius leaves to cherish his memories a loving Mother, Timika Chestnut of Winter Garden, FL; Father, Kemo Dowe (Juleetia) of Apopka, FL; his 7 siblings, Sisters: Keniyah Chestnut and Zanaysha Powell of Winter Garden, FL, Jhukema Dowe of Georgia, Lillian Johnson and LaKesha Johnson of Orlando, FL, Brothers: Tavarrius Powell-Chestnut, of Winter Garden, FL and Javarrius Powell-Chestnut of Gratenwoehr, Germany; Grandparents: Marian Donaldson of Orlando, FL, Curven Chestnut (Ruby) of Longs, SC, Mary Hawdel of Tildenville, FL; Great-grandmother, Daisy Owens of the US Virgin Islands; two God-sisters, Quaneisha Patterson of Orlando, FL and Lamondrea Harp of Atlanta, GA; 2 God-brothers Ke' Marrion Brown of Tildenville, FL and Tydre Pugh of Orlando, FL; and his brother from another Mother (best friend), Kyle Spears. As well as a host of grieving Uncles and Aunts, cousins, God children, and friends.
