Jamell Devon Jones

Our hearts were not ready but God's was... as He, petitioned our beloved Jamell Devon Jones to take his eternal rest. Jamell transitioned from his earthly house unexpectedly on Thursday, September 21, 2023 in Kissimmee, Florida. Jamell was the second oldest son born to Bernard and Greer Jones born on April 11, 1986 in Brooklyn, NY. Jamell resided in several counties in NY to include Brooklyn, Queens, and the Bronx. He later moved with his parents and siblings to Trenton, NJ; where he attended the Trenton Public School District, graduating from Trenton Central High School- Class of 1955. After graduating from high school, Jamell relocated with his family to Kissimmee, Fla. It was in Florida that Jamell gained full time employment with Whataburger, Walt Disney World, Amazon, and also working a part-time as a delivery person/driver for a local furniture store. Jamell was a very diligent worker who took every job that he had a very seriously, and his work ethics showed. Jamell remained employed until his health warranted him to leave. In his spare time, Jamell enjoyed playing basketball, watching sports games, listening to music, and watching movies with his family. he was also an avid gamer NBA2K, Hockey, Soccer, 1 on 1 play shooters, and 1st person shooting games. Jamell was a compassionate loving son and brother. All those who knew Jamell, were blessed and will carry on his legacy forever. Jamell was the life of the party; always keeping you " in stitches" with laughter. He was known to give out hugs and was loved by the young and old alike. Jamell was greeted at heaven's gates by his: paternal grandparents: the late Bernard Robinson Jones and Odessa C. Jones (Nee Cooper); his maternal grandmother: the late Agnes E. Jones; his uncles: the late John Arthur Jones; and the late William "Billy" Jones. Memories of Jamell's wit and charm will forever be cherish by: His dedicated parents: Bernard and Greer Jones; his two brother: Jason M. Jones and Depree M. Jones, both Kissimmee, Fla; his Step-grandfather Samuel Jones, Orlando, Fla; his aunt Odette Whittaker, Queen, NY; his uncle, Donald Jones, Fla. Jamell is also survived by his extended family: Samuel Jones, Jr.; Lacole Jones; and Nicole Jones; as well as cousins, friends, and his cyber gaming family.
