Frances W. Channer

Frances Deloris Channer was born June 12, 1939 in Windemere Florida to Taylor Wells and Aretha Wilson-Wells. She attended Orange County public schools ending her education at Jones High. She worked various of jobs within the hospitality industry. The locations included Days Lodge as an Executive Housekeeper, at Walt Disney World Resorts in Food and Beverage, Lastly at Compri Hotel in Orlando, Florida. Her professional career was driven by her work ethics and her passion of hospitality. She continuously expressed warmth and a welcoming spirit to people she met. Frances was a deeply devoted Christian and her Faith was expressed by her praise and love for God. She was a member of St. Luke Missionary Baptist Church of Kissimmee under the Leadership of Revered David Antonio Lattimore. She later moved to Orlando to take care of her mom and joined Greater Faith A.M.E Zion Church under the leadership of Pastor Marvin Robertson. After the demise of Pastor Robertson, Sister Channer joined Friendship Missionary Baptist Church of Saint Cloud under the leadership of Pastor Harold C. Stallworth Sr. After joining Friendship, She continued to express her love for Christ through her time, talent and treasures. Always giving on her spiritual journey. Frances was one of the church mothers of Friendship. Sister Channer had a love and passion for hidden treasures. Her spirit of giving and sharing when she found hidden treasures were remarkable. The hidden treasures would include food for the food ministry at Friendship ( The Lords Table). She would journey throughout the community of Orlando, Kissimmee and Saint Cloud with the hidden treasures to share with those in need. As the mother and Matriarch of the family her children were endearing but all the grandchildren and great grandchildren were the essence of her being. She loved all her children. Frances was preceded in death by her loving parents: Taylor Wells and Aretha Wilson-Wells. Her Siblings: Ruth Johnson, Willie Wells, Jean Everett, Alice Russell, Estelle Bernard and Edward Wells. Her Children: Eugene Augusta Harley, Fletcher Douglas Harley and Nathaniel Eugene Harley. Her Grandchildren: Keshia Stallworth and Jamila Harley. She leaves to cherish her memories, Her Children: Letha Stallworth (Pastor Harold Stallworth Sr.), Bobby Harley, Teresa A Harley-Sonny, Alice Harley, Ricky V. Harley Sr. (Denese). 41 Grandchildren, 60 Great Grandchildren, 20 Great Great Grandchildren. Daughter-in-law's, Sister in-law, A host of Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, Friends and Loving Community.
