Pastor Faye D. Rivers

Pastor Faye D. Rivers was born and raised in the beautiful city of Clermont, Florida, on August 14, 1956, to Doris and Osbie Smith. She attended Lake County Public Schools and later built a career caring for those who could no longer care for themselves. She devoted over 20 years as a nurse’s aide, providing exceptional care and leaving a lasting impression on many she encountered. After the call to care, there was a call to draw those she came in contact with to Christ. Her faith in God was the most important thing she focused on in life. She would always say that her ultimate goal was to obey and please God. Her way of doing this was to answer the call to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ by any means necessary. She began her own outreach under the name “Nothing But The Pure in Heart Shall See God Ministry Inc.” and later became the Associate Pastor of Kings House Outreach Ministries until her call home. On the evening of April 18, 2026, God called Pastor Faye D. Rivers home from labor to reward. We already miss her greatly, but we know to be absent from the body is to be present with the lord. She lived her life so that she may live again. This is not goodbye; we are simply saying good night for now. Pastor Rivers was preceded in death by her husband, Isaac Rivers, parents, Doris and Osbie Smith, and sisters, Windy Eagle, Cajunda Stafford, Jennifer Smith, and Denise Gamble. The Legacy She Leaves Behind Pastor Faye D. Rivers leaves behind 7 loving children to cherish lasting memories: her Daughter, Tressrea Smith (William) of Leesburg, Florida; Two Adopted Daughters: Kimberly Rivers of Leesburg, Florida, and Elizabeth McKnight of Jacksonville, Florida; Sons: James Smith (Christy) of Winter Springs, Florida, Wilford Rivers (Valerie) of Wildwood, Florida, and Farris Rivers of Altamonte Springs, Florida; Stepson, Isaac, Jr. of Clermont, Florida; Sister, Linda Montgomery (Wilbert) of Groveland, Florida; Brothers: George Fulgham of Colorado Springs, Colorado, and Everett Smith (Sue) of Clermont, Florida; Brother-in-law, Derrick Stafford of Eatonville, Florida;12 Grandchildren, and 13 Great-grandchildren, a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
